| Dog has a crazy habit Hi. I am new to Yorkie Talk. I have a 3-year-old male named Bayley. Everytime we go for a walk, he has to take along one of his babies (little stuffed animals). He will not leave the house without a toy. He is very cute walking down the street with a toy in his mouth. Everyone thinks its hysterical. Do any of your Yorkies have a crazy habit? |

Oh I so wish mine would pack somthing. It something that is taught as a comfort to dogs with anxiety to keep their minds on the toy and not what is going on around them. Also for aggression cause you can snag it and play and keep thier minds on you as a scary thing goes by. Darn I wish. JL | |

| Onni carries a stuffed animal in her mouth whenever she is waiting for me. At night she likes to have something in her mouth, we don't walk her (we live in the country) so I don't know if she would carry it with on an outing. We call them her passy. Her favorite is one of my husbands icky socks or pink stuffed bone almost as big as she is; which is not very big.

| Gracie Ruth would love to take her ducky with her on walks, but I am able to convince her to leave ducky at home. She'll be laying down on the floor with it right in front of her and she'll carry on long conversations with it. She carries it around and they apparently have wonderful adventures together as they run thru the house, under and over the funiture from one room to the next. Gracie keeps up quit a dialog all thru whatever quest their on, growling, chattering and yammering. Unfortunately one of their favorite exploits is to see how far they can push Boo before he'll chase them. I hope she never looses this part of her personality, however, I'm sure at some point she will probably out grow it.

Your story brought back memories for me. We had a Great Dane that had to carry a 3 ft stuffed candy cane on all of our walks. It was the funniest thing ever! Our yorkie Blaze has to take a toy to bed w/him everynight (any toy will do) and take it under my covers and lay on it! He is a very big hoarder. If either Autumn or Chance try to take a toy out of their basket he goes NUTS and will not rest until he gets it from them! We refer to him as Crazy Blazey!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | All these stories are so cute! I wish our Yorkie knew what a toy was or how to play. I keep trying to get her interested but at the age of 4 maybe it's to late. I have had a little success with peek-a-boo with the blanket or sheet and rolling in clean laundry. That's the total extent of her play and it's only for a few min then she's done.

| Lacy has a huge monkey with long arms that she drags around from room to room... I tell her "Give me that monkey!" and she'll grab it and run around growling at it. When I'm cooking, she'll get under my feet so I'll tell her "where's your monkey?"... she'll dart off and find it... |
