he's still just adorable !! I think we've all been there with the bad groomer thing but he really looks cute. The suggestion to do it your own self is a good one if he's so scared....poor baby - do you think a groomer was too rough or he just doesn't like it period ? Was he scared the other times ?....cause if not - then it was THIS groomer who got him scared....and that is not good at all. I do my own girls after having a bad experience a few years ago ...they don't look as good as a pro would have them look ....but at least I dont have to leave them with strangers not knowing what's happening. | |

| Groomers some times a groomer and a dog/puppy don't get along. I don't believe a dog needs to be sedated to be groomed. I have had two very wonderful groomers in the past and on some dogs it just take time a patience. I had tried to groom my dogs myself but just can't get the hang of it. Maybe you know of someone else that has their dogs groomed elsewhere and you can try them. I will say a young puppy sometimes gets upset the first few time groomed. My Zoey was sick for two day's afterwards her first time. I told this to my groomer and she made sure she took special care of her the next time. and she did just great the 2nd time around. |

| I think with that ADORABLE expression on Lucky's face no haircut can take that away! What a doll. You seemed to have been very good at brushing him, from the before picture, so you will probably be super good at learning to trim him yourself. With a face like that, it can cover a multitude of short haircuts. Bless his little heart, he looks soooo sweet. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ps....When my Chanel had a really BAD groom - I didn't stop laughing for a week - everytime I looked at her all I could think of was that she was 'Sampson the Lion's distant cousin that no one talked about She had all this long head and face hair and short short body hair..... When she had that cut - she thought she was ALL that and a bag of chips - she had no clue she looked hilarious ...when I laughed - she would puff out her chest like she really WAS all that -- (and I laughed ALOT that first week getting used to it) I bet he loves his new 'do' now that it's over - and on the upside for you - you don't have to brush him everyday right ??? |

| There is no way anybody could make that precious baby look bad. He is just adorable. You know, I think often times we all are more particular about the way our babies hair is cut than we we are our own. True? Bernie and Baxter are scared to death of the clippers, so . I never have taken them to a groomer. I hear too many bad experiences from other unsatisfied mommies just like you. Every time I brush Bernie and Baxter, I pull out the scissors and trim this and that....then I'll see something I don't like when they walk by and snip it! Maybe oneday it will come to needing a groomer, but right now. NO WAY! You can do it! Try it next time.

| Well, first off, I want to say, he is adorable either way! I know you're upset - I would be too. I groom my Zoe and I would recommend that for now at least. That way, you can get him used to it and then if you need to take him in the future, it won't be as difficult. You won't need to trim him right now so all you'll need to really worry about is bathing and brushing for awhile and hopefully you will make him more comfortable and you might decide you like doing it and if not, it will give you time to find a better groomer. Sorry this happened to you..... |
