| Help: Is this on the up & up?? Hi I was looking on the craigslist at this dog and It said it was flaged. One of our YT members saw it so I emailed the man and he said that he need to go to the hospital. He gave me his phone # and his address and photos of the dog but I don't know anything about craigslist. Is this to good to be true

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I personality would not buy a dog from Craig's list, lots of con artists out there, no good breeder would ever place a dog on such a list, and if it was flagged you should certainly run the other way. Gosh, I can't believe how many "breeders" say they are sick.

| What does it mean when it's flagged?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | It means that someone knows that this person is a con artist. Many of our members read Craig's List, just to find ads to flag, they know the signs to look for, or have had dealing with this person before. If you see an ad and respond to it, and learn that the person is indeed a scammer, you can "flag" the post. There's a box on the page, that you select to "flag" an ad. Some are flagged because they are obscene, and some are flagged because they are a scam.

| I don't know what that means either unless it means that is was reported to the administration because it is against the rules to sell live animals on craigs list. A lot of people do it because craigs list is so huge they cannot monitor all the ads. But I believe you can report an ad that is against the rules. |

| Definitely stay away from anything that's flagged. I flag stuff in our newspaper all the time, and I never do it unless I'm absolutely sure it's a scam. Many of these scams are, belive it or not, Nigerian. It's really very upsetting. Some of them are just people looking to make a quick buck, but they're still scams or puppy mills. |
