I guess you can test until you are blue in the face. To me at the end of the day, if I am not producing dogs that resemble the said breeds from these tests. Shih tzus have a wide numbers of coloring.. American Shih Tzu Club so shouldn't I be throwing several more colors? Same with the Japanese Chin. Unless breeders are sweeping them under the rug, I haven't seen these colors.

Why would they be afraid? You don't get banned because you have a fault in the line, perhaps if you breed for faults, is that what you mean?

Why don't you Parti breeders have your dogs Mars tested and see what group they end up in? Knowing which group your dog is in, is more important than knowing what other breed's are in it. The reason being, there has never been a breed signature developed for the Biewer.

We are getting ready to have coat color analysis done on our dogs. There is one club that says they have been working with geneticists and Vet's in this field for 2 years, but they don't want to share the information, nor the experts they are working with. This analysis is very important in the development of our breed, as so many dogs are predominantly getting whiter.

When compared with other breeds, Yorkie, Maltese, Shih Tzu, etc....... they all formed their own group. The Biewer Terriers were in a group all their own. We had Yorkies tested and they ended up in the Yorkie group.
The BTCA tested these lines from Germany, all within 3 generations. ALL of them were in the Biewer Terrier group, NOT one showed up in the Yorkie group. These are facts, not opinion.

Are you saying that they had establihed a groub for Biewers? They weren't on the list that was listed on the website. Or are you saying that the Biewers that were tested did not show up in any of the other groups that were listed.
