| ![]() Our little guy is Padre. We named him because I grew up on South Padre Island and near the border of Mexico. We thought it would be cute to name such a little guy Padre...which means father in spanish. He's the cutest little guy and makes me smile every day. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() I Had Baxter's name picked out before I got him, to me Yorkies look like really cuddly little teddy bears, and as a child I had a teddy bear named Baxter. When we went to pick him up he was "Dancing" in the crate when we walked in (I visited him every week from the time he was 2 days old until 8 weeks, pitiful, I know), so we made his middle name Bojangles. Well, My name is Amy, so I had an "A" and a "B". So I thought Cooper would be a good name for my next boy...I brought him home and Husband said he was so "Bad", snapping, stealing Baxter's Food and Toys, just taking over the place...that his name should have been "Capone"...So Cooper Capone. A, B, C Then, when my husband carried in this little abandoned dog to me, wet from the rain, and scared as al lget out, I made a promise to put an ad in the newspaper, and look for her parents. But after the vet visit the next day, when I learned she had Congestive Heart Failure, and is between 10-13, I didn't expect any call backs, and I was right. In my heart...she was already my Darcy...and what better middle name than Darlin? A, B, C, and D And, in case you are wondering, that's how Darlin Beauxs got it's name! Amy |

| ![]() My little one's name is Vegas. I had it picked out before I got her. Kinda sounds more like a boy's name but I like it anyway. And it matches with her blingy pink collar, lol! |

| ![]() Coming up with my little guys name was easy. I had it picked out about a week before I got him. I was watching Lord of the Rings the night my dad said I could have a dog, and Pippin was my favorite hobbit because he's the shortest of them all and the name Pippin just seemed to fit him. My sister didn't like it, but it grew on her. -Kelly |

| ![]() I had Layla's name picked out right before I got her. I was trying so hard to think of a cute girly name for so long. I was working in an engineering lab and we had the radio on all day every day. For some reason, that whole summer and fall, Layla by Eric Clapton played constantly. Finally when I heard it about 2 weeks before getting her, a lightbulb showed up above my head and I decided that would be the PERFECT name! The breeder had already named her and registered her as Roda, but I liked Layla much better so that's her name from me, her mommy ![]()

| ![]() Bruin - Wife and I went to UCLA. Therefore it was obvious to name him this. He also looks like a furry bear, is really tough and protects our house so it made it that much more suiting. Nico (Knee-co)- Random name I liked. He is small and feisty. Last edited by alexbnieto; 09-03-2008 at 07:21 PM. |

| ![]() Roxy - I picked the name before we picked her up, and it fit her. Short and spunky, and cute! And the spelling was because I liked the idea of buying Roxy brand sunglasses and bags that would have her name on them!

| ![]() I like that idea about buying roxy things. I want to get my dog a minnie bowl and a minnie or disney princess blanket for the winter. When we went to disney this summer I was looking for a minnie dog dress, but no luck. I did get her a princess collar with castles and minnie faces on it with a minnie tag hanging off it. |
