Baron was 6 months old when I got him. But I have dreamed of having a Yorkie in my life since I was a child. I LOVE the Sound of Music. I was 6 when I first saw it and fekk asleep near the end. I loved Christopher Plummers portrayal of the Baron. His full name was Baron Georg { pron. Gay og} Von Trapp. That's how Baron became Baron... Best Wishes...

I have 2 yorkies, and since they originated in England, thought I would name them old english names. Hence, Spencer Braxton is my male's name, but my grand daughter calls him Bubby, and then his daughter's name is Tawnie Skye, she is such a beautiful lil girl. Both so little and cute. She is going to have babies in late Sept and am so nervous about it because she is not quite 4 lbs. Have never bred puppies before so doing a lot of reading.

Atticus after Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird-- gentleman of all gentlemen. Would love to get three more and name them Scout, Jem and Boo.

I am a little confused on the origin. I heard they came from England, then I heard they were brought to England from Scotland. Does anyone know for sure?????

My furbaby's name is Sophia. We usually call her Sophie. My daughter helped me name her, as my daughter already has 3 Yorkies and she really liked the name Sophia.

I call my baby Pixie. I changed it from Gypsie since they sound kinda the same. her registered name is Lailie Little Gypsie. This is her, but i cought her in mid shake, so she looks a little funny

My yorkie's name is Sparkle, I call her Sparkie. As a matter of fact, I need to find a name to register her with. Any ideas? Her mother's name is Leah and her dad's is Luke Skywalker.

I was told they came from Yorkshire England, but never checked out that. But one thing I know is they are the greatest little dogs and so big in their thinking

i have one little girl baby. Her name is Suzi. I wanted a short name for her because I have heard that it is easier for dogs to remember. Then I wanted a girly name .I only h ave a teenaged son, and this baby is my little girl. My son and I brainstormed names, and we both really like the name Suzi for her. It was only a week after we had her, and she knew her name. The name Suzi has fit her perfectly

My maiden name is McMillan...so being part Irish we named our two cats: Martha McCreedy and Millie McDoogel
So we had to name our little yorkie an Irish name that started with an M...hence: Mickey McMullen!

My little girl is named Summer. My husband named her because he loves the warm weather and we got her in the summmer time. Now we are working on our next yorkies name. Isn't as easy this time. Perferrably an "S".
