I had Layla's name picked out right before I got her. I was trying so hard to think of a cute girly name for so long. I was working in an engineering lab and we had the radio on all day every day. For some reason, that whole summer and fall, Layla by Eric Clapton played constantly. Finally when I heard it about 2 weeks before getting her, a lightbulb showed up above my head and I decided that would be the PERFECT name! The breeder had already named her and registered her as Roda, but I liked Layla much better so that's her name from me, her mommy
