Miles runs, jumps, and plays with the other doggies in a pack at the meetups; the smaller Yorkies are either yapping /snapping at other dogs / people or they are sitting on laps doing nothing (too fragile, I guess). He was a little shy at first (i refused to pick him up when he asked and made him go play) still is but he likes being around other dogs now. I had on Too Cute on TV where they were showing newborn puppies, Miles was whining and looking for the puppies behind the television. He couldn't understand why he couldn't play with them or why they wouldn't come out of the TV. And he is a little food thug lol. The doggies were fighting over treats too funny. Miles showed his teeth and growled. WOW!!!

| ![]() We recently lost our Taylor who weighed 15 pounds at 9 Months and 18-20 pounds as an adult (She was 12) We have her niece (Molly) who is 14 lbs. We'd love to find another full-size Yorkie pup and have absolutely no interest in a Tea-Cup or bred to be tiny dog. The question is, where do you find them? We got both of our dogs from a family that happened to have a couple of litters (they were not breeders). It's even hard to find people who will believe that she was a purebred. Anyone have any ideas? Last edited by Clay Freinwald; 12-06-2014 at 10:11 PM. |

Many of the people here on YT that have larger Yorkies bought them from people promising a much smaller mature weight. Your best bet is to go and look at the parents to get an idea of what size the owners pups will actually be. If you have trouble getting to see both parents I would advise you to move on. The breeder should at least have pictures of the sire.

| ![]() Thought the general maximum size for a Yorkie was approximately 7 lbs. At 4 months old my Ollie weighs 7.4 lbs. Wonder if he will end up being a 20 lber? Had no idea Yorkies can get this big......lol |
