| Since this thread is about vets.. some of you mentioned that your yorkie doesn't leave your sight during vet visits, so I had a question. In general, is it normal for vets/pet clinics to give shots in front of their owners or not? I went to a vet for Wall-E's 2nd set of vaccinations, and they took him into their back room to administer his shots . This was my first visit to this particular vet and it kind of surprised me. The vet that I take my mom's dogs to actually administers the shots right in front of you which is what I was expecting them to do. Is that normal or should I request to have the shots given in front of me? |

| Ellie- Thanks for that reply. It makes me feel a little better now. This vet that I went to had good reviews and recommendations so I just wanted to make sure that it was normal procedure to give shots in the back room. Like I said, my mom's vet that I am used to always administers everything in front of the owners so that was what I was expecting. |
