The vet that I take my mom's dogs to actually administers the shots right in front of you which is what I was expecting them to do. Is that normal or should I request to have the shots given in front of me? |
It has never been an issue with my vet but I don't remember a time when any of my dogs got shots without me being there. With the little dogs I'm always holding them while they get their shots. My vet has one tech I don't trust. She is a really nice person and loves the dogs but she just isn't as competent as the others. Dawn (my vet) has no problem with having one of the other techs assist her.
