Even Standard Yorkies that are not registered are cheaper. Papers do make the Price higher on a dog. Are you seriously going to tell me that Papers do not make a dog sell for more. Even Pet people want Papers even with limited registertion. I am not trying to be mean either - so please don't think that. Do you breed dogs? If so do you breed with Papers?

Yes you are right i have choosen to be right here defending myself. This website is o.k. For people who want to have an opinion however you do not have to be ugly or rude to do that. Look at what some of then have said things in a nasty way. As far as my website i have made available information about the partis .anyone can question what i have but their is a right way and a wrong way. I thank god that i do not have to be acting in a unprofessional way on the subject of the partis yorkies...............................gwen

You are missing the point. Yes, price differs depending on the value placed on a certain registration. You claimed that AKC Partis sell for more than Biewers because they are AKC registered. Well then, if it is the AKC registration that drives up the price, then why wouldn't it do the same for AKC standard colored Yorkies? Why is there such a price difference between the two?
Therefore, them being AKC registered is not the reason for the price difference, the fact that the price is jacked up to meet supply and demand for something "different" is.

True...but who's right is it to control how people approach something? Not mine. Not yours.
It can be construed that things have been said "in a nasty way" on both sides here.
Bottom line is, people disagree with alot of things on your site and discussed it. I understand that it would be unplesant to hear others questioning or challenging what you do, but what can you do? If people disagree with it, they disagree with it and they have a right to state so and why they feel that way. Not much you can do there....

Some Biewers are still as high as AKC parti yorkies. It depends on the quality, size, sex of the dog. The price will come down when they are more available. There are more Biewers available to buy I think than Akc Parti yorkies. I think that also may have something to do with it. BUT BIEWERS and AKC PARTI YORKIES are almost the same thing other than the AKC papers.
AKC Partis are more because of the AKC Papers - I know because that is why I paid so much for mine.
Because in my opinion if Papers where not the issue than Biewers should be priced higher because they have the tail. YOU GET MORE DOG for the money LOL!!!

I am not a controlling person. Second i have respect for myself and how i speak to people. Kindness goes a long way in any discussion you may have with a person on a subject that they care very deeply about.if they do not like the partis or whatever the problem they seem to be having with me just do it in a good way............................gwen

ok Let ALL GET REAL HERE!!! ASKING QUESTIONS IS ASKING QUESTIONS. ATTACKING someone and bashing them is another thing. If you think this is a nice and ok comment or post about someone than you are WRONG!!!! Calling someone ripoff or saying they have bad quality dogs and saying that they are not going to good home? HELLO ANYONE OUT THERE!! How would they know they are not going to quality homes? I OWN ONE OF HER DOGS!! I would think I have a good quality home. THESE are statements that are FICTION!!!
Oh and by the way I didn't know you meet Paris Hilton!!! Well you 2 must be BEST friends to know her so well to even talk trash about her!!! LMAO!!!

I don't think she needs it explained to her....I know that she has a pretty good grasp on the concept already. I am not getting off the subject. I believe that you were the one that made the pricing comparison between AKC Partis and Biewers--the reasoning you stated made no logical sense so I asked for explanation. (Which you still have yet to offer.) The statements you made regarding "why" Biewers are so much more money was not altogether accurate--not the ONLY determining factors. (At least in many cases.) It was not meant to offend you.

You are right though: Biewers have nothing to do with this post, so I'll rephrase the question--Why are AKC Parti Yorkies so much more than AKC Standard Yorkies? Simple there are more standard breeder then parti breeders.
Years ago when Yorkies first came popular.. there prices were very high.
Now because everyone and there brother are breeding them the prices have fallen.
Like you said supply and demand.
Like it or not.. there are people who like yorkies that are different from the standard colors.

That is what price I paid - that is what price they are going for - that is what price I sell them for. Makes a lot of sense doesn't it? I had a Parti Yorkie Male for sell and it was only 4 days old when I sold it. Can I ask you a question now why would you want to know about how much they sell for? Does it matter? STILL not on the subject!!!

It was just as "nice" as some of the other posts I've seen in this thread. ;) Again though, it's not anyones 'right' to determine how people post or who is 'nice.' Except ADMINS. If you have a problem with the post, report it to them. Clearly they saw nothing wrong with it.
It seems like the problem is not so much with what was "nice" but more with the fact that the breeder was brought up and questioned to begin with.

Again...you are missing the point, which is WHY are they worth more? No one in their right mind would sell a dog without any attempt to at least cover their costs. I understand your point and agree with that. But the question remains: WHY are they worth so much more than a standard Yorkie? What justification is there for the price difference other than that being what people are willing to pay?

actually I do thank you for that info. I believe Gwen needs to get in touch with them because that is lies and no truth to it at all. It is hurting to her as a breeder and hurting to her wonderful dogs. I don't think that it should be floating around on the net. Some people Believe anything they read. I am upset because this was written about her because Gwen is my personal friend that has helped me in anyway she could with info on parti yorkies in general.

There is a little red and white triangle button in the corner of every post. If you feel a thread was against YT rules--then hit it and explain your reasoning. It will alert admin and they will review the post. If they find it was in violation of the RULES, then they will delete it or edit it as they see fit. (But only if it violates the rules, not just because you didn't like it.) :)

As far as it being "lies"--it was her opinion. Her opinion, can't be a "lie" it's how she feels. Anything that she posted as 'fact' in the first post, was something right off the website. Whether you like it, agree with it or think it was 'rude'--I don't see where it was a violation of the rules. (Of course, I'm not ADMIN, so that is their decision.)

Why at one time were the Biewer so high?
Because they were new to the world.
But have you noticed because they broke away from the Yorkshire in the name the prices have fallen.
