| "Dogster" Ice Cream Does anyone have opinions on this stuff? I got some for Joey and he LOVES it - just wondering if it is ok for him...I got it at the local grocery store and it says it is low calorie and safe, but I just wanted to check with everyone on YT because you all know best!! |

| I must confess that when we get an ice cream at McDonalds, I ask for a baby cone, and Snoodles goes nuts over it. We don't do this much, only 2 times this summer, but once in a while even dogs need a good treat that is bad for them.lol Pat |

| I'm scared to get some for Gus,,,, I know he will love it but the few times that I have him ice cream,,,,,, it gave him really bad gas. So I try and keep him away from it for fear of the smell. LOL

| We used to give Gracie and Sampson Frosty Paws, but it made them so thirsty and I had to take them out a couple of times during the night after they ate it. YUK! So, I found a recipe for "icecream" and made it for them and they LOVE it and it does not make them thirsty or hype them up. 32 oz low fat yogurt, plain 1 jar baby bananas 2 tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons peanut butter Mix it all and freeze it in individual containers.

| If I'm not mistaken, bananas cause major constipation in dogs, so maybe omitting the bananas in the recipe would be good.

| Bruce eats Frosty Paws but I only give it to him about once a week or I will give it if it is really hot and he needs a little refreshment. I only give 1/2 the container and he gobbles it up, still I think 1/2 is enough!
