| Apparently, the nurses that said no, were not dog people, because if they had, they would've understood that our love for our babies is unconditional. Her baby needed to see her as much as she needed to see him... I cried when I read that, because that's exactly how we (my babies and I) would be. Good for you to keep asking and you fianlly got a nurse that understood. Thanks to the good nurse.. I'm a nurse and I know if someone ask me this, I'd do whatever it took to see that it was done, as long as everything was safe... No harm done in this case, only happiness..... My prayers are with you and your aunt and her baby......

| I am glad that your aunt got to see her dog and that she was better for it. I have a suggestion that next time you vist call before you go and ask to talk to a person in patient services or patient relation and ask how you can go about gettin permission for your aunt to be able to visit with her dog and just explain the situtation. Most of the time they are the ones to go to get things like that done. They are kind of a go between, between the pt., pt. families and the hire ups like the bosses. Most hospitals are concerned with what thier pts want and want to keep them happy. I am sending warm wishes for peace and comfort to your family. |

| First my prayers are with you and your aunt. What a great gift you gave her!! One she will never forget...that you were so persistant to get her the channce to see Snickers!!! I think you should also like one poster said, contact her primary doctor etc and let them know that you want her to be able to have acess to her dog. If there is nothing else they can do for her than at least they can allow her this pleasure and it will more than likely make her forget the pain she is in if she can spend time with her pet!! They can do what they want in hospitals and I am a firm believer in prayer and i am praying now that this will come to pass for her. Don't give up even if you and your uncle have to call everyday to get this done for your Aunt!!! God will bless you for blessing your Aunt!!! Well Done!!!
