Interesting..... but would it be sanitary? Do fish carry diseases?? Could be REALLY interesting! .... especially if a pirrahna got thrown in the mix!! :eek: :D

Continue checking back - we are working on Hotel accomodations and once that is settled things will start moving a bit faster. Lol - I am so excited - I already have a "Alexandria or Bust" fund started.

This sounds like so much fun! I will be going as long as it is not the week that I get married! I really want to meet fellow YTers and their dogs! It is only a 2 hour drive for me!

Just thought I would throw out a couple questions just for fun. Sorry if they have been asked and/or answered..I haven't gone through all the posts...

1. For those driving or flying I guess, how many of your yorks are you bringing along?
2. How many people already have roomates?
3. How long do you think you will stay?
4. What other activities do you plan on doing while in Alexandria?
5. Are you coming with or without spouse?

For me

1. I am not sure, but if I am able to go, definitely Jeter will be with me, he is a mama's boy:rolleyes:

2. I have no clue, we really haven't gotten to much detail on this, but I am sure their are a few on here that have plans on rooming together.

3. I received my information packet that I sent for and I plan on going shopping at all the neat shops that are around:D It's such a dog friendly place most shops are marked that your doggy can shop with you!!

4. My hubby would have to come with me, I can't drive due to having seisures still:thumbdown I am just hoping that he can take the vacation time because I really would LOVE to go. My husband is a fun person so I don't mind him having to come with me;)

Oh No, Sorry for the confusion, I don't think I worded my post to well. I sent for information on visiting Alexandria VA, from a web site about Alexandria VA. It list a bunch of restaurants, shops and lodging and nearby attractions. I got the packet a few weeks ago and I keep looking at all the shops, it looks like a FUN place to bring your pet, as they are allowed in almost all the shops!

The sooner we get the details, the better!!! I already have to put in for vacation time for next year and we are going to make a long weekend out of this. Plus, I don't want to start planning Save A Yorkie Rescue's Annual Yorkie Day until I know when this is going to be - not good to do them too close together!
