Senior Yorkie Talker | Lola has never screamed to my knowledge. She yelps and whines and barks, but never screams. I hope she never does. That would freak me out! LOL

| YES LILY SCREAMS and SCREAMS and SCREAMS!!LOL I hope this is something she grows out of?? I give up on the crate at night because she can scream for hours!! She did scream when she rode in the car in the little crate in the car but now she doesn't scream as much but she gets sick and throws up now when I take her in the car. When she is out in her xpen in the yard she will scream and jump so high she almost can jump to the top of it!! I won't even mention how she acts when I try to brush/comb her!!lol She is a good girl to get her bath but you can't touch her with a brush or anything...she throws a fit!! I think she might be spoiled a little bit too??lol She has me trained real well. Last edited by zaknnana; 07-01-2008 at 08:30 AM. Reason: wrong word |

| We keep Lily in the mud room most of the time but we have also been leaving her in her crate when we won't be gone for as long so that if we ever have to leave her in there she won't scream. The first couple of times we put her in there she would scream and scream and it sounded like she was throwing herself up against the walls of the crate. It was the funniest saddest thing I had ever heard. We just left her alone and now she has realized we will be back. She still will start whimpering when I get her out and love on me like she hasn't seen me in days, but thats ok it makes me feel special |

| Classical Music calms Chili's screaming I can't remember where I read this, but I tried it and it worked. Every time we would leave the house, we would return to this terrible screaming at us. Chili would gripe us out for about 2 minutes when we got home, and it did not matter if we were gone 10 minutes or 2 hours he was letting my husband and I have it. I started to play classical music when I left after I read somewhere that it sooths yorkies. It worked, he is so pleasent to return home to. Now he is just excited to see us and wants to love on you when you get home. Its great!

| Riley was a terror when she was a puppy. Anytime you put her in the kennel she would go ballistic, screaming and biting the kennel. In fact, she eventually knocked out two baby teeth! She was a little freak! She's calmed down quite a bit, but if she gets mad that I kenneled her (usually when I'm getting ready to leave) she'll do her little scream and dig frantically at the kennel. I don't think she'll ever outgrow it at this point; she'll be 2 in October. |

| I know the talking you are talking about! Keelyn's got a voice of a human i swear! when she wakes me up in the middle of the night to potty its like a low talking voice, not growling or barking or crying it's talking! she does SCREAM when i brush her..but shes just a puppy, she'll get used to it after her biweekly washes and brushouts at the groomer (as per recommended by them) |
