Does your dog scream? Do any of your dogs scream when they are mad. Nico was in puppy prison this weekend for a little while and he cried for about ten minutes and then all of a sudden he started screaming like pitt bulls were tearing his heart out. I have never in my life heard anything like it. It wasn't barking or growling it was screaming. He actually made me cry, I thought someting had happened to him. |
YES, Layla screams. I had to drive 2 and a half hours when I was moving and she was just a puppy. She was in her travel crate right beside me and she screamed the whole way. She also screams when I leave the car. I remember last summer telling my roommate about her screaming, and she thought I was exaggerating. We were on our way to take a picnic by the river and I stopped on the way to run in and get a sub to eat. When I got back she told me she understands what I mean when I say Layla screams! |
Yes, My Cookie screams when I crate her at night (so she doesn't chew the house down) or if I go outside without her she stands at the door and screams really loudly so I am sure to hear her!:) |

LOL!!! I sometimes have to leave her inside the house if I am leaving or going outsde to wash the car or something, when I can't watch her. But she sure lets me know that she wanted to go to!!!:p |
Bella didn't make a sound for the first two days I had her. Then on the way to the vet she started this humming whining thing. It broke my heart. Then when I took her on her first road trip (1 1/2 hours away) she whined and then started screaming bloody murder. So she lasted 30 minutes in that carrier and it was passed along to my sister who is getting a itty bitty poodle.:) Then I switched her carrier and the first time she screamed and I left her in it and she quieted down and now she's fine with it. Now my biggest problem is if she's not happy where all her toys are she will whine and then scream. I think my puppy has picked up on my slight OCD :yelrotflm |
Skeeter goes into a playpen at night or if we have to leave him in the house. He is usually pretty good about it but the second he thinks he hears on of us up he is screaming his head off. He is such a cuddle bug and so loving he mush reallyl hate being separated from us. Adie, the little stinker, has just started screaming if she thinks the others are going outside and she isn't. She is pee pad trained and doesn't have to go "out" like Ivan and Cassie do so she doesn't always get to go with them. She is especially bad at night when i absolutely refuse to let her outside. We have all kinds of wildlife around here! |
Yep mine sure do....and they know thats the only thing that will make me listen to them b/c I try to ignore the one little bark so they got smarter.... |
Lucy seats at the sliding door, waiting to see or smell a cat or something and out of the blue she screams leading into her bark. It's the funniest thing & usually scares the heck out of me :) |
yes pebbles does this ..then sometimes if i ignore her long enough, she tries to howl. it is the funniest thing (the psuedo-howling) but her screaming, my goodness... she just yells like a crazy person whenever I leave her in her part of the house and go into the hallway for like my purse or something... she is too much! |
 Our Rocky screams, but Bitsy and B.J. don't. Rocky has a scream that sounds like a rooster crow. He'll be sound asleep and suddenly throw his head up and let out this blood curdling scream then falls back asleep again??!! |
Katie doesn't scream, but cries a lot if we have to leave her in the car. As soon as we are out of sight she quietens. Hugs Shirl x x |
Both mine do, but specialy Rosi:rolleyes: she does that when we go to my friends house, she gets sooo exited as she runs toward the house she screams ! |
Mine don't, but I know one little girl that can break glass with her screaming. It's Villette's little Cheri. lol |
 I thought Toto was the only one who did this!! The only time she has ever screamed is if she is hurt ... it is the most heartwrenching sound we have ever heard. When she doesn't get her way, she tries so very hard to "talk" [I swear, it sounds like little words!] and if that doesn't work, she has a little tiny "yipping" sound that gets our attention! :) |
