| What Is A Biewer and a Parti Yorkie? I was wondering how a biewer and how a parti yorkie comes about? Are they also pure bred Yorkshire Terriers?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I just asked that question, and was told that he W is silent and there are two ways of acceptable pronunciations "beaver" and "be va" rhymes with "diva." The Germans don't have the W sound and since the breed started in Germany their pronunciations might be considered correct. Some Americans pronounce it bu – er with a long U. When people say "beaver" there are so many chuckles; I don't think it will catch on here, I like be-va the best. I thought parti sounded like party, buy I don't know maybe its par-TAY. These words don't come up in my everyday language, just the written word.

| Just like in the US, Germany has many dialects or accents. It is also pronounced bee vir in parts of Germany (so I have been told) Toe May toe Toe Mah toe |
