First of all, Archie, I think we have TWINS. Your Buddy sounds incredibly like my Tootie Man.

He is of course, a Big loving man! Tootie is the most fun-loving little guy I have ever had. He has the cutest look, LOVES to cuddle, and I know he understands what I say to him. I can see it in his eyes. He is my snuggle buddy who is very happy to see anyone who will smile at him! You can often see the smile on his face! There is NEVER a day that I come home the he doesn't make me giggle at the door!

Ms. Hopey, well, she is a ROTTEN DIVA! HAHA... She is the sweetest little thing ever, and "needs" her Mommy. I never had a pet who "needed" me as much as she does, and it is a beautiful thing! She is so sweet, loves to lay in the "bankie" right next to me. She is not really a snuggle buddy like Tootie, but as long as she is touching me she is OK. She is so like a baby to me. I catch alot of "flack" from the family about how spoiled she is, but this is why I got the beautiful little thing! She brings such joy to my life it is unbeleivable!

I have two other pups, Tinker and Laci... Tinker is the "lady" of the house and very bossy while Laci is the BIG OLE PUP, she is 95 lbs. and has no idea she is not a lap dog.

I thank God everyday for bringing me such a wonderful little "fur family".

Adie: Adie is a heartbreaker. she looks at you with those big brown eyes and melts even the hardest heart. She is too bright for her own good and understands people better than most "other" people do. She knows how to play us and get her way. She can be obsessive and possessive. She loves us and her adopted Mommy (Cassie) deeply. She is learning to love her new little brother and after being the baby of the family has surprised us with her tolerance for getting her top knot chewed and being pounced on repeatedly. She is the dog of my dreams and the one I always wanted and finally got. She is the first non-rescue dog I have ever owned and I love looking at her beauty.

Skeeter is the baby and is all boy. His most endearing quality is his habit of holding my finger or thumb in his mouth while he takes a nap. I posted a picture recently. He has the shortest attention span I have ever seen and is the happiest little guy...all the time. I have never seen him mad and he has never taken offense at the other dogs rebuffing him when he wants to play and they don't. I think he is going to prove to be a very bright little guy and if I can hold his attention long enough he will love being trained. He is interested in everything! He is also very very vocal. Not barking but grunting and moaning etc. It is funny to hear him.

Let's see Chloe, what can one say about Chloe..BRAT...prissy little thing that warms her mommy's heart to the core. She's fun loving, cares nothing about doing what she's told, spoiled, and extremely loyal to only those she deems worthy! I just love her all-over face kisses and prissy little fluff butt walk! She's mommy's little angel and will be for as long as GOD wills it! xo

Kylie..oh my Kylie...DUH comes to mind...she's not very smart but oohhhh sooo sweet! My precious baby would just lay in your lap for years if you let her. She's so loyal and loves to romp and play like nobody's business! We call her cheeks cause she's got such a fluffy rear-end she literally looks as though she's got butt cheeks. (ahahaha) She hardly comes when called and is also extremely spoiled but she's such a giver and also mommy's little angel!

Ramsey ~ considers herself quite fierce...but is terrified of loud noises and thunder storms. She would like to be the alpha of our group...but let's the boys hog the food dish while she sits and whines. She is not a licker....she kisses...long, slow, wet kisses which she prefers to give her daddy or her boyfriend...John. An obsessive squirrel hunter. Will sit on your lap on her terms only...likes to sleep by you but not on you. Plays with Reese and Reggie, but again only on her terms...other times..she thinks they are stupid. Loves riding in the boat, on the jet ski, or her...emphasis on her...boogie board in the pool.

Reese ~ aka lickalottapuss. So excited he can't contain it all and wiggles all over. Totally completely fearless or clueless...we haven't decided. Loves everything and everyone. Loves all water sports...including fallling off our pier into the water. Follows Ramsey...cause she's the big sister. Likes BIG balls...little ones are for sissy dogs. Adores his puppy...Reggie.

Reggie ~ quite possibly the gentlest sweetest puppy I have ever own. Not so gentle when playing with Reese. Holds his own even though Reese is double his size. Imagines himself quite larger than he is. Gazes at me as I sit or walk around the room. Asks to be held. Asks to be helped onto the couch or bed. Loves toys....preferrably all over the floor. Adores sticks, pine bark nuggets, and other treasures which must be brought inside. Begs Ramsey to play with him. Not fond of that boat riding gig...regardless of what the other two think. Loves to wrestle Reese.

Oliver...gosh, when i got Oliver i remember feeling like i did when i had my first child....how do i keep him safe? how do i keep him healthy?, i think i spent those first few weeks worrying beyond worry....but then i began to relax and just enjoy each and every little thing he did. He has been such a smart and loving little guy. He is my handsome boy....he loves to play with a soccer ball for hours on end until i finally have to hide it to make him take a break! My love for him is the reason his sister came into being.....

Brooklyn....she is quite the character! She gives her brother a run for his money! She wants to share everything he has!!!!And wont take his no for an answer! She LOVES to eat! She loves belly rubs, kids, and pretty much anyone! She seems to know when it is time for each feeding and she will sit in front of me and let me know with her little short whine,bark sounds. She is beautiful to me and my husband. He loves them both like i do (but he was the one that really didnt want any more dogs, as we already had 3) I love to watch him with them...it warms my heart as he was not brought up with dogs in the house at all!

I guess all of you are the only ones that can truly understand how very much i love them!!!!

Just to add a little something about my Mufasa. When I get home from work and come in the house he goes CRAZY and practically jumps in my arms. He is so excited to see me he is kissing me and kinda whimpering at the same time. It's like he can't get enough of me which I totally love!!!!

Gracie... well... she is my baby girl... I love her sooooooooooooooooooooooo much and I think and hope the feelings are mutual... lol she LOVES her Daddy!!! whenever he is home she is ALWAYS laying with him if he is laying down on the couch... at night time she "steals" his side of the bed! lol but its sooooooooooooooooooo cute because she cuddles up right next to him as if hes spooning her! yeah I know! so it will be me spooning him then he will be spooning her... its sooooooooooooo cute we are just one big happy family! and for me its GREAT because my hubby didnt even want any type of animal... and I talked him in to letting me get Gracie... now he loves her but wont admit to it! Gracie is VERY spunky, loving, MISS ATTITUDE!!!, happy go lucky, my hubby has called her part lion part kangaroo ever since she came home... lol she is my life saver! and she makes me LAUGH EVERY day! what more can I say about my little princess?

I'm SO glad everyone has embraced this thread and shared their love for their babies.

All of you have written such beautiful things.....

We have shared our pictures, and our problems, but words are a powerful thing.......... its amazing to me how much emotion comes across in each of your posts. The amount of love that each of you has for your baby is overwhelming.

Its wonderful reading everyone's story and learning about eachother. We are so very lucky.

And Nancy -------- yes, I really do talk with them... an awful lot (lol).. the hubby gets irritated but what can ya do.... there's a deeper connection that sometimes others cannnot comprehend. Sometimes I wish the girls could speak, ....but they have other ways to communicate... and the love is always there. I just get worried when I see 'thinking' going on with that little one.. ....she's very special.

First I must say that I am so in love with Hot Rod that sometimes it scares me. This little 3 1/2 (almost) furbutt has managed to wrap me so around his little paws it is unreal.

He is so mellow and laid back. He loves to play with his toys and us. You can just make sounds and he starts to jump around as if the play catch. He LOVES to snuggle and be held. He follows me everywhere and likes to be right under my nose. He likes to sit/sleep on my desk whenver I am in my office, in the kitchen when I am cooking, laundry room, garden, etc. He likes to be around people and loves to gives lots and lots of kisses.

He definitely is our protector, especially from voices outside of our as neighbors walk by and the reflections in the windows.

I look at his face and just melt at how handsome and adorable he is and I look at his eyes and sometimes they seem like a very old soul lives behind them and other times they look like mischieveous little pup. He definitely has stolen my heart. I don't even remember life before him and can't imagine life without him.

My little man..jeesh I can hardly talk about how much i love him without tearing up, it's pretty scary

Ozzy- His mommy's boy. He is just a happy go lucky social little guy. He follows me everywhere. I haven't gone to the bathroom alone since he came home He will lay his soft little head on my feet while I wash dishes or dry my hair. When we come home he is so happy to see us that he curls up in a ball with his ears straight back and wiggles all around. If he could turn himself inside out he would. He loves the car and as long as he is with Mom and Dad he is happy period. He loves the motorcycle and canoeing and thinks he can do anything. He loves to kiss and lay in laps. He protects us from deer and turkeys in the yard Everyone who meets him just loves him. Everyday Ozzy makes us smile. We don't have skin kids and he is our Baby. We love him more than I can ever say and we both never thought we would become "crazy dog people" but we are! He is my sweet yorkie angel and the light of my life

Lola is my heart. She is my reason for waking up in the morning. I just adore my dog. I dreamt about the kind of dog I wanted for so long and when I finally decided on a yorkie I couldn't wait to get one. When I did, she was so much more than I could have ever expected.

She is such a little princess. She always gets her way. Everyone falls in love with her, especially because of her sweet little eyes. She is beautiful, strong, loving, fierce, protective, stubborn, and dramatic. I think she gets the dramatic part from me! She is always excited to see me after I have been gone, even if it was only for two minutes. She loves to give kisses and cuddling. She loves playing in the park and running around outside. She loves exploring her surroundings and playing with other dogs.

I cannot imagine my life without her. I just love my baby so much!!!

What a great thread. I love all your stories, and know that the Yorkie is the most special dog God ever created

Jeanie - is my baby. She always greets me/hubby with her playtoy - always wants it to be thrown for her. Never tires. She follows me everywhere. Everytime I get up from the couch, even if she is in a deep sleep, and I try to sneak away so as not to disturb her, she knows I'm up and comes to find me. I go down the hallway and I see her dancing beside me, smiling up at me - oh it is so super special.

She thinks she is the TOTAL boss of the cat, and constantly bosses her around. She is so sweet, except when she is being bossy with the cat. I have to stick up for kitty, and give her a special room with a gate up so she can escape into it when Jeanie is being too much!

Jeanie likes to lay and wait for me too - like when I am getting ready in the morning......she plays fetch and then lays down while I do my routine......
She always comes over to me when I am in the bath, and cleans my face.....she has to take care of mommy too :0)

She is so smart. She knows several words no problem. She knows squirrel, bone, daddy, mommy, mocha (cat), foods......she is so funny to watch while she goes to exactly the thing I said. I love her intelligence....so cute, so sweet.

She is the most social dog EVER! She loves everybody - dogs, people, and just wants to say hi to everyone. She is such a lady - won't pee/poo in public....won't clean herself (well that can be a downside), she loves to wear her clothing proud, never takes her bows out, tries to stay nice and tidy for mommy (except when I spray doggy spray - that smells good on her - she tries to rub that off. So I don't do that - obviously she doesn't like it much).

She lays with her Daddy more than me....loves her daddy lots. He's been sick, on chemo, and she takes extra special care of him at night.....cuddling up to him, and being a good girl. She likes to snuggle with both of us when we share the couch, gets right in between, and gives us group kisses.....so cute.

OH there is so much to say about my little girl. I couldn't have my own skin baby so this is my true fur baby.........I feel blessed to have her in my life and I love her so much.
