Adie: Adie is a heartbreaker. she looks at you with those big brown eyes and melts even the hardest heart. She is too bright for her own good and understands people better than most "other" people do. She knows how to play us and get her way. She can be obsessive and possessive. She loves us and her adopted Mommy (Cassie) deeply. She is learning to love her new little brother and after being the baby of the family has surprised us with her tolerance for getting her top knot chewed and being pounced on repeatedly. She is the dog of my dreams and the one I always wanted and finally got. She is the first non-rescue dog I have ever owned and I love looking at her beauty.
Skeeter is the baby and is all boy. His most endearing quality is his habit of holding my finger or thumb in his mouth while he takes a nap. I posted a picture recently. He has the shortest attention span I have ever seen and is the happiest little guy...all the time. I have never seen him mad and he has never taken offense at the other dogs rebuffing him when he wants to play and they don't. I think he is going to prove to be a very bright little guy and if I can hold his attention long enough he will love being trained. He is interested in everything! He is also very very vocal. Not barking but grunting and moaning etc. It is funny to hear him. |
