| ![]() I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you! I'm a regular on flickr.com and see this happening A LOT, but it never gets less annoying! It's far too easy to right click and steal someone's photo - and even if you disable right click saving, there are many other ways they can steal it. I hope they take the photo down. I don't mean to bear bad news, but if it's not copyrighted, they and anyone else can do whatever they want. ![]()

Most people don't have the funding to prosecute for violation of copyright. This is the reason the big companies have such a hammer on all of their stuff. They DO have the big bucks to pursue it. The reality is that the same folks that take something that belongs to another on the internet are the same type of folks that take things from others in the 'real world'.....same mentality. I see it, I like it, I want it, I should have it. I took it. Now it is mine. It is just as wrong in to 'take' something in the cyber world as it is in the physical world we live in. Just harder to deal with. There aren't any 'internet police' we can take the problem to. Consider this: If you see an image or even written words on the net and you like it and take it without permission or without paying for the use of it...you have just violated copyright laws. Unless you can prove it is in the public domain. _______________________________________________ | |
