| Should I get him an xpen? Well, it is now official! Bear HATES being in his play yard Every time I put him in there he whines & barks like crazy & seriously won't shut up unless I take him out. I've tried just waiting it out, but that doesn't work. The other day he whined & barked for an hour & a half while he was in there! So I was just thinking that maybe the space is too small for him? Would I be better off getting him an xpen so that he has more room to run around & such? I can't put a baby gate up to section off an area of our house because the baby gates are too small & don't fit any area of our house to section it off So what do you guys think? Is an xpen the way to go? Amy

| The Xpen works really good for my baby girl....She can see out of it better also, and has more space to run around and "be free" without destroying our house or messing up her potty training

| I would get a ex-pen. Also you can use it to gate off a room .

| I love my X-pen. My husband suggested it and I am so glad we did. Generally has pretty much torn up the kitchen so we had to use one. He goes into it before I leave for work and when I get home he meets us at the edge. He does not mess in it either even after 10+ hours. Our X-pen can be hooked up with others to make a large play area. We are going to buy a couple more and create a big play area for when we are outside. This will help as we do not have a yard. |

| I am a big fan of x-pens. They help to keep your babies safe when you are not home to watch them, but give them much more room than a crate does. If you are going to be gone for quite awhile, you can put one or two pee pads down for them and still have enough room for a bed and food and water dishes. You can also buy more than one, attach together, and give them tons of space while still keeping them confined. Good luck!

| I have a crate that is used to store clean dog beds and extra toys, we use the expen. I used it yesterday to block off the living room so hubby could replace a window without "help". We also have the 4'x4' wire top that can also be uses as 2'x4' if I only want half of the pen to be used (puppies). The wire top works great on the pen for Rock because he can fly/climb over any pen or gate that we have.

| I have had my baby for about 2 weeks. I have an x-pen set up in the living room, with his crate, puppy pads, a bed, toys in it. I also have his food and water in there. When I can't watch his every move I will put him in there and he loves it. I also bought another x-pen to use outdoors as I don't have a fenced yard. I work 12 hour shifts a couple days a week. This was the best option for us. I could not leave him in a crate for that long. The plus side is that his potty training is coming along great!

| I would definitely recommend it. For those times that you may be running late or just want to spend a little more time out, this gives you the ability to do so. I have ours hooked up to Hot Rod's crate which even expands the pen area a little more. I have his food and water and potty pad in it. I know that he is not getting into anything when I am not home and I know that he can drink, eat and potty if he needs to.
