I have had my baby for about 2 weeks. I have an x-pen set up in the living room, with his crate, puppy pads, a bed, toys in it. I also have his food and water in there. When I can't watch his every move I will put him in there and he loves it. I also bought another x-pen to use outdoors as I don't have a fenced yard. I work 12 hour shifts a couple days a week. This was the best option for us. I could not leave him in a crate for that long. The plus side is that his potty training is coming along great!
