| I agree. There used to be a clerk at Petsmart who said "do they really wear that stuff?" when I would buy clothing. I thought about reporting her to the store manager but I never did. It is ignorant to say something like this to a customer and make them feel foolish for buying the store merchandise. She didn't seem to be much of a dog lover. I haven't seen her in awhile. I guess she quit or got fired.

| Ahhhhh, sweet Sarah...might need to work on her people skills... While Miss Daisy now has a full on wardrobe, the reason it started was because her first winter, at 6 months old, she was freezing, and I started putting sweat shirts on her by day, jammies at night...the rest is history.... and yes, yorkies DO have HAIR...not FUR!! Sweet Sarah is a doggie bone-head!!! I see a change in careers in her near future |

I went about my merry way selecting this and that Then went up to the check stand to pay for what I got Sarah dear oh Sarah dear, I don't need you to warn I only want to buy these things to keep my baby warm Though you think you know it all, you've got a lot to learn All you have accomplished here is to make my temper burn Please take the time to educate yourself on what you say So in future times you won't reveal your ignorance this way I suggest to you, just do your job in ringing up the sale And if you do, I'm sure that I won't feel the need to tell Couldn't resist. | Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Have you heard back from the managers yet? I would think they owe you a reply. If you don't hear from them, I think you should walk in the store nude. When they try to throw you out, assure them that the clerk says clothes do no good.

| you guys have pretty much said everything.. so I just wanted to add ![]() ![]() ![]() Stupid girl!!! running her mouth when she shouldn't.. I hate people like that.. I get so many people who "think" they know everything there is to know about yorkies.. size.. weight.. color.. ect. yeah right!!! And then when I correct them they're like "how would you know?!" EXCUSE ME?! OK I don't know EVERYTHING about yorkies.. but I sure as heck know a lot more than you do calling them teacups!!!!

Just so the associate gets counseled, thats all I ask: "Thank you for contacting PETCO Customer Relations regarding your concern with our store. We are sorry to hear about your recent experience. We seek to give all of our customers the best possible selection of pet products and the best service. When we fail, we know that we have lost your patronage until confidence in our service commitment may be restored. I would like nothing more than to continue to see you in our store again. I have sent your concerns to the General Manager to be addressed with that associate. Please know that we care about our customers and what they think of us. By letting us know when we fall short of your expectations, we have the opportunity to address your concerns and to be better prepared to meet your expectations in the future. | Just found this thread.. what an idiot.. you should have made her look like the real ass she is.. but saying things right out loud so others could have heard you.. and brought attention to her.. I bet the store manager would have soon come to see what was happening.. Maybe they should have sent you a gift card to make sure you came back.. yes dogs do get cold.. many times the people that have laughed at me have said to me go and get kacee something to put on.. he is so cold and shivering.. although they at one time laughed at me... anne |
