| To socialize your yorkie with other dogs you just have to introduce them as many dogs of every shape, size, and color you can but GRADUALLY don't rush it, and use extreme caution when introducing your dogs because anything can happen in the blink of an eye the more you introduce the more well-rounded and socialized you little yorkie will be |

YT 2000 Club Member | Well we have three "big" 70-90 pounder dogs here, Maggy is a mere 4 pounds 9 ounces, but I let her play with them ONE at a time and ONLY when I am RIGHT THERE supervising. They all love here dearly and she is just nuts over them. She gets plenty of socialization with them. Then today, we went looking at yard sales and the hubby and I took Maggy May along. I carried her the whole time and had her leash and harness on her, we had to stop for a potty break at my sisters house and there she got to play with her cousin Coco for the very first time, he's round about the same age as her. It was SO CUTE watching her and Coco play. My daughter also has a Chi about a week younger than Maggy, she brings him over and we let them play. We also have a cat who is nuts over Maggy, they spend most of the day chasing one another and playin hide, seek, find and pounce on, lol.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I have been taking Kibble everywhere he can go cause he seems to bark and growl at people. I'm hoping that by taking him to more places, this will stop him from being so mean lol |

| Training class is a great way to socialize! Your dogs will come across lots of other different dogs and there are experts on hand to help! Training classes aren't just about teaching commands they are a great way to socialize your dog!

| Take them Everywhere You Can? We used to live right next door to the "Dog Park" and I used to take all 3 (at one time I had 5 Yorkies) of my Yorkies every day at least once a day, sometimes even twice a day. I only take them once a week now. I also walk them around a Lake, where they are allowed to meet new People & Dogs. Now that it is Summer time I also walk them at the Beach. I take them any where Pets are allowed, they like "Parading" in their clothes. They spend alot of time in my car, when I run errands weather permitting of course. I try to teach them my Friends names, their Pet's names and where we are walking to. I beleive every situation is an opportunity to "Socialize" and every time they experience something or a new place is a chance to "Train" them. The more they do different things, the more confident they become. |

| Take them places, especially walking in the park or in your neighborhood if possible. We can't walk through our neighborhood because we have no sidewalks, and I think it would be dangerous. But, we take them to the park. We took Jake camping last year, that's a great way to socialize them. We have neighbors who have dogs, so we let them play together (ALWAYS closely supervised). The trouble is, no one really has a dog their size other than my sister who has a maltese. With her schedule, we haven't been able to get the dogs together, but we'll work on that. I take them to places they can go, like the pet store. We take them when we visit people. They LOVE people and aren't afraid of other dogs. We started out gradually so they didn't get overwhelmed.
