| Memorial Day Boat Races; i live in louisiana, they have some coat races here in my city every memorial day weekend. During the day you do just that, watch the boat races, and at night it's music and food and fun i'm trying to decide if i should dress sophie in her new red, white and blue dress and take her out there. i brought her out to the lake last night for a walk, we barely got any walking done because everyone had to stop and tell me how adorable she was. No rude comments about her being big (suprisingly). lots of people did ask where i got her, and how much. They seemed surprised when i told them i drove 5 hours to get her and she was $400 (what did they expect?! they don't give these dogs away.) if i take her to the races, she will be very safe. they have lots of cops there, and my boyfriend will be working as a wildlife and fisheries agent. i'm just afraid she'll be scared by the noise.

| Hope this will "bump" your question up for you and someone might have an answer. My answer is: I don't know if she will be scared. Guess you'll never know how she reacts in such situations unless you try it at least once. Good luck.
