| Clean Paws for Bedtime? I'm just curious if anyone cleans off their pups paws before they let them up on their bed? I haven't been cleaning my lil guys paws until today....it just dawned on me that they are pretty dirty with goodness knows what on them. And then he gets picked up onto my bed and cuddles with me on my sheets and yucko! So I went out and purchased some unscented baby wipes and used those on his paws tonight before I put him on my bed and guess what????.....they were pretty dirty. How many of you clean your pups paws like this and what do you use on them?.....soapy wash cloth or damp wash cloth or baby wipes?

| I do! I'm super paranoid about germs and bacteria. No shoes are allowed in the house! And the wood floors get constantly wiped down. Their paws gets cleaned nightly with a damp towel or alcohol and fragrance free baby wipes . I buy them in bulk now at Costco. They are used to it by now and don't make any fuss. They sometimes step in their soiled pads and get stinky. If we take them outside, they get their paws washed in the sink or a full on bath.

| I have to be really careful because I'm taking a medication which suppresses the immune system. So, my boys get their faces washed with a warm wash cloth and a tiny bit of baby shampoo. Then, I wash their paws and butts with alcohol-free, fragrance-free wipes. After that, they get their Petzlife, and they're all set for bed.

| I didn't use to clean my dog's paws off either, til I saw sand in the bed. We have so much sand around here, and they both run thru it to get to the lawn (why go across the patio and avoid the sand at the side of it?)....so now, I keep a box of fragrancefree, alcohol free wipes in my nightstand so they can be wiped off. I also have a throw at the end of the bed in case they go out in the middle of the night and I'm too asleep to wipe them off. It helps a lot.

| I do. Sass gets her face washed, her paws cleaned, she gets brushed and her teeth get brushed before bed. She knows the routine and is such a good girl while I get her ready for bed.

| Great Thread! I've always wondered whether I was so looney for doing this nightly. Glad I'm not the only one. I just use warm damp face towels for all three of the furballs. Before bed, they all know the routine, they get their paws wiped, eyes, ears, tummy, and butt cleaned. Then they get to brush their teeth, we just recently got Petzlife and I started using this just recently. When they see me preparing their towels, they all run to their daddy, either hiding next to his leg or getting carried and hiding under his armpit. They're so silly, they all know that daddy is going to hand them to me but nooo they still want to hide. |

| I wipe my 2 fluffs paws with a towel every time they come in from going out in the wet grass, clean their mouths with a wet paper towel every time they eat and their faces when the eye boogers get bad. They are so used to getting their feet cleaned I can just touch their leg and they will usually lift it for me to clean.
