| Choosing New Puppy Hi. I'm new to this site. I need some advice on something I think I already know the answer to. My husband and I are thinking about getting another pup. We have a17 week old male. When I called about the new puppies, I was told they had 5 puppies in the litter and all were sold except 2 males. They are 6 weeks old so won't be ready for another 3-4 weeks. When we went to see the, we were shown the mother, father and a 2 year old female out of the same breeding. They then brought out a male puppy, but never showed us the other 4 puppies. We never asked to see them because I was waiting for the breeder to offer. Does this sound unusual? I would think they would have shown us all the puppies. Also, when I was holding the puppy he was trembling and he never moved..just layed in my arms. The breeder said that he loves to play, but even when she came over and talked to him, he still just looked at her and never made a move to go to her. |

YT 500 Club Member | I have little or no experience with breeders, but I remember the night we bought ours. The couple had been out fishing with the dogs all afternoon (the parents and both puppies), and our baby was sleeping on the couch with her mother, but the father and the little male puppy were playing on the floor. The husband had the father Yorkie do some tricks for us, and the little male was biting their cat's tail and just generally going nuts. The female that we picked seemed calmer but alert and friendly. In general, it was a happy family scene

| We just called the breeder and told her we didn't want the puppt as she was holding it for us for a few hours so we could make up our minds. Something just doesn't feel right. |

| Welcome to YT. Maybe you can find a perfect yorkie playmate on here. You could post in the yorkies wanted forum and look thru the yorkies for sale. Good luck. Would love to hear about the boy you already have Also, I used to breed Bichons and Siamese and if someone came to see the litter, I really downplayed the ones that were already spoken for. So if they were sleeping, I wouldn't have brought them out. Somehow everyone thinks they want the one that is already sold. But if everyone was running around playing a perspective buyer would see them all
