 Choosing New Puppy
Hi. I'm new to this site. I need some advice on something I think I already know the answer to. My husband and I are thinking about getting another pup. We have a17 week old male. When I called about the new puppies, I was told they had 5 puppies in the litter and all were sold except 2 males. They are 6 weeks old so won't be ready for another 3-4 weeks. When we went to see the, we were shown the mother, father and a 2 year old female out of the same breeding. They then brought out a male puppy, but never showed us the other 4 puppies. We never asked to see them because I was waiting for the breeder to offer. Does this sound unusual? I would think they would have shown us all the puppies. Also, when I was holding the puppy he was trembling and he never moved..just layed in my arms. The breeder said that he loves to play, but even when she came over and talked to him, he still just looked at her and never made a move to go to her. |
