| I just asked about yorkies' ears and when they generally stand up. It seems there is no one time table. My sasha is only 9 weeks so maybe it's too early to start worrying. I'm new here so I'm going to attempt to attach a picture of her. |

| Oh she is a sweetheart. I am not sure when they are suppose to be up. Some say early like 6 to 8 weeks, some say 4-6 months, then I have heard about 10 months. So I don't really know. I do know about shaving the fur on the ears 1/2 way down but that's really all I know about the ears. I have one dog with the ears down(he's 6 years) one that 1 ear stands up and the other is down, then I have the baby, and sometimes her ears stand, and sometimes they don't!! |

| Don't give up hope, my babies ears didn't stand until he was 7 months. I was told that if they weren't standing by 6 months they would not stand up. So I to gave up hope, then one morning when I got up with Chase both of his ears were standing up so perky and have been up ever since. I would have loved my baby just the same if his ears didn't stand, but given a preference I preferred the erect ears. |

his hair. I softly folded his ear to the front and taped around them. I have seen where people connect the ears in the center after they are taped. I didn't leave the tape on for more than 12 hours at a time though. I did this at night so he slept with the tape and then for a little while in mornings. He would scratch and I felt really bad. I stopped taping them once he scratched himself good and broke the skin. The groomer told me that the hair could still pull them down so I will probably just keep the top 1/3 or so shaved for now. Good Luck.

| I didn't think Hot Rod's would stand up either. He was 8 mos when they started to go up. So maybe.

| Oh she is a sweetheart! I wouldn't worry about them just yet. I have heard to shave the ears to the fold. If you take her to the groomers, they should know what to do. Or try one of those personal shavers if you have. They don't make as much noise as clippers so maybe you can do it yourself if you want to try. She is a doll baby. Congratulations!
