| I think Tate is adorable with or without hair!!!...... But I know exactly where you are coming from...... we have been thinking about trimming Seymour's face. His "mane" hangs way down, almost to the floor. Everytime I think about it, I look at all that hair, and change my mind. Once the hot weather kicks in I may be more persuaded. Whatever you decide, she will be as cute as ever!

| Do you cut her hair short under her chin and leave the cheek hair longer? She would look cute either way but I would leave it long if it grows slow.

| Brooke~ Tatum looks very pretty with her long coat, but.....if you think she would be more comfortable with it shorter, then that's what I would do. I don't know what part of Texas you are in but when i lived in Houston, OH MY GOSH, that heat and humidity!!!! It is awful so I know what you are saying about it starting to get hotter. Also, since Tatum does wear a lot of clothing, it would be easier to have her shorter. It's up to you...either way, she's a doll! Tam |

| Oh dear! Her hair is so pretty long, but I understand the clothes problem. Tink is not nearly that long but she's been cut short most of her life except since December. I do have trouble though brushing her out in the evening after taking her clothing off. But it's sooooo pretty. Maybe you could leave it long and see how she does during the hot summer. If it's too much, then reconsider. |

| NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I really don't think they get much hotter if they have longer hair...it's a single coat...no difference with our hair. I think they will get hot either way...it's just crazy hot here in Texas. I could see trimming it *a little* but no way no way no way would I shave it off!! Don't do it!

| Girl, OMG I am laughing so hard here. I have had my clippers out since yesterday. You know I've been debating for months if I should shave Pia off. I knew I had to wait until it was atleast warm to do it and now its finally that time. I'm scared to death to do it. You told me you thought Pia would look cute with short hair and like a puppy again, so that's what I'm telling you back, LOL!! You know we love Tate and she's adorable no matter what her hair looks like. Her hair is so pretty but if she's been miserable or anything, then I would do something. I've decided if Pia starts to act like she's too hot, then the hair will be shaved. Trixie and Paisley you know grow so slow, so I'm leaving them alone. Plus, they aren't super long anyways. You groom very well girl and your used to cutting Steddy short, so atleast you'll have a good idea on what to do with Tate (if you do cut it). Just remember, do whats best for her and no matter what, she'll always be beautiful!!

| Sorry I can't help you. I LOVE having Sammy cut short (and Loki practically shaved). I had to BEG my groomer to do it and we still keep her head longer and keep a topknot, but she is so cottony that all that hair had to go. My groomer was so afraid I would be upset and I love love love it.

| LOL Just this past Thursday, I was going to cute Katie's hair off to even up her leg. She had LP surgery 5 months ago, so she has a short haired back leg. I just couldn't bring myself to cut it. I say leave it alone until you are absolutely sure that's what you really want. It takes forever for it to grow back. Good luck, sweetie. If I could, I would remove the clippers from your home.
