out of curiousity; how much was your yorkie?

Gosh I guess I got a real deal. Winston was $500.00, four years ago. He came from a great breeder and was within driving distance. Knock on wood no major health issues...other then hypoglycemic seizures. Not sure if this is inherited or not. As long as he eats frequent meals he seems okay. He's not a tiny, he's just what I wanted. Oh, and he has AKC papers as well.
When I took him to the vet for his first puppy check-up after getting him, the vet inquired about his breeder...she thought he was a wonderfully bred pup and wanted to recommend his breeder to others looking for a yorkie. Hmmmm, wonder if she still feels that way now??? No, he really is a great little guy and I love him with all my heart.

sammy was 500.00 about 1 1/2 years ago and he was 14 months when i bought him from a breeder who said she had enough male yorkies. she was about 1 hr from me, so it was easy.
now i have a chance to get another yorkie for 200.00 who is 9 months old , because they are moving out of state and do not want to take him with them. i am very very torn whether or not to buy him. i have to make a decision by tomorrow.
sammy is my little boy and we have a special connection and i dont want to ruin it.
HELP ME DECIDE !

I paid $1500 for both of my babies. They came with limited AKC registration with a spay contract. I got them from a wonderful breeder who shows her her yorkies and is a member of the YTCA.

Xena's grandpa is the #1 Canadian yorkie MBIS MBISS MBPIS Am/Can Ch Groveshires Fast and Furious. http://members.tripod.com/~Groveshire/index-dogs.html. Xena's dad is Am Ch Groveshires Armed and Dangerous, and Izzy's Grandpa is BIS BPIS Ch Aero's Ima Classic at Groveshire. Their mothers are also champions so I think I did pretty well. Xena is a little on the bigger side and Izzy too small to show so that's why my breeder didn't keep them to show.

You could always get him if not for anything but to guarantee to find him a good home. Being that they don't want to take him, who knows where he will end up. Poor baby

I have a Groveshire dog My dog is CH Groveshire's Under the Radar! But I show Radar and he's out on the show circuit now

Milo is AKC registered and was $500. Boys are a lot less out here in Kansas/Missouri than the girls. I've been looking for a little female to add to our family and haven't found the right one yet, but the prices for females range from 600- 1200 around here. Maybe next spring I'll get my little girl.

Lucky was 475. He is ckc registered. He is my first Yorkie. I love him dearly. I havent had an animal in 20 years and my daughter got married so I thought it was time for a new baby. lol

Sydney was a "rescue" from a backyard breeder. I paid $375 for her when she was 3 yrs old.

She now gets solo love and I think she relishes in the spotlight!!
