| Sorry to hear you had to rehome your little one. Hopefully, the new owners will keep you updated with pics so you can continue to watch her grow..Hopefully some healing will come knowing you placed her in a loving home where you know she will be loved as you loved her.

| I agree that we chose to rehome however if there is every a cut and dry solution to the affairs of the heart, I wish I could figure it out. I had gone back and forth and yes we chose to rehome. What I didn't anticipate was just how large of gaping hole would be left by this little girl. Nor did I anticipate spending an extra week with her because her new owners couldn't work their schedule out.

| I'm so sorry your going through this. Just remember, everything happens for a reason. I pray that you will get to have her in your home one day, but maybe there is a reason God had her go to the new owners that you and the new owner are unaware of.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I'm so sorry. Unless you can convince the new owner, who probably loves her to death just like you, to give her back, there's not much you can do. All you can really do is focus on the good (if you're the praying type, pray for strength), and just try to move past it. I know its impossibly hard. Most of the healing will come with time. It will take a while, but there will come a day where you'll be okay again. You can get through this. Maybe you can convince the new owner to give her back - I hope you can. But if you can't, then just try to be strong. Its ok to cry though, its necessary to feel better. I'll keep you in my prayers.

| I am so sorry. We have thought about rehoming Logan, and after reading your post, I'm glad we have not done so. The hurt will go away in time. I felt like you when we had to put our last dog to sleep. The pain was unexplainable, but time did help us heal. I'm sorry there isn't a quicker way to get over this. But you will be OK. |
