Treasure your memories of your puppy...get up each morning and decide to be happy, make the life of someone else better...go to the shelter and volunteer to walk dogs, find a shut-in who would enjoy a visit from you and Hot Rod, get involved in animal welfare and do it for the love of Zoe...best wishes

PS...You may say I do not understand the pain in your heart and you have no control over it...BUT I do understand and when you take the focus off YOUR heartaches and concentrate on someone elses, your pain will lessen...
Although I would keep trying to find someway to keep fighting tooth and nail to get my puppy back...... This is very good advice. And you did, after all, agreed to rehome zoe with this person and you should honor your commitmets (sp?)
