| my carseat just saved Sugar! I just got in a car accident with Sugar! I was taking him for his dental. It was fairly minor and we're both okay but he went FLYING! If he wasn't in his carseat he would have been hurt badly. The whole thing happened in slow motion and all I remember is Sugar flying out of his seat. The tether kept him from slamming into the dashboard and I'm going to shorten it now- I had no idea it was long enough for him to come out of the seat. This was not a major accident but because our babies are so little even a little accident could be deadly for them. Gawd that was scarey! Use your carseats! The poor woman who hit me was coming off of a 16 hour shift and was just exhausted.

| Thank Goodness everyone was OK! Abby has a carseat, but Daisy doesn't have one yet. I need to make that a priority. Thanks for the reminder.

| Wow that is scary! I am so glad your baby is ok. I had a carseat for mine but she pitched a bitch everytime I put her in it. That has opend my eyes though. I would rather listen to hear cry and know that she is safe than risk something happening to her because I was giving in. I am moving to Oklahoma in July, and that will be a very long ride. She will definatly be in a car seat for the trip I dont care how much she screams. I am sure she will get over it. Again I am really sorry that happend. It must have scared sugar something aweful. Thank goodness you are both ok. |

| Glad hear that you two are okay. I just got my carseat last week and they loved riding in it. They could see out and when they got tired, they just layed down and curled up.

| Glad you both are okay. If you can't afford a car seat, there are leashes that hook into the car's seat belt latch. There are two models of cars, though, that it does not fit into. That would need to be checked out. I have four furbabies. When we went to Tx last weekend, I had two in a My Buddy Lookout Safety Seat (could have had three) and the other two hooked to seat belt leashes. Worked out just fine after I finally figured out who worked best where. There are horror stories out there about what can happen to our furbabies if they are strapped in.

| Mine are always in car seats now but there have been times in the past that they haven't been. Spike hates the car and my daughter takes him out of the seat sometimes to hold him but never again. My mom always puts her two in a carseat but doesn't strap them in.

| OMG! Thank goodness you both are ok! Carly has a car seat, but I need to get Corey a padded harness for the back seat. I think I will go tonight. You don't realize how fast our little ones can go flying into the dash board or windshield. So scary.

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | omg thank goodness you both are ok!!!!! This really makes me think cause when I take them bye-bye, (and I can only take 1 at a time) they want to sit on my lap. I have tossed the idea around about a car seat, this helps me make my decision. |
