 my carseat just saved Sugar!
I just got in a car accident with Sugar! I was taking him for his dental. It was fairly minor and we're both okay but he went FLYING! If he wasn't in his carseat he would have been hurt badly. The whole thing happened in slow motion and all I remember is Sugar flying out of his seat. The tether kept him from slamming into the dashboard and I'm going to shorten it now- I had no idea it was long enough for him to come out of the seat. This was not a major accident but because our babies are so little even a little accident could be deadly for them. Gawd that was scarey! Use your carseats! The poor woman who hit me was coming off of a 16 hour shift and was just exhausted.
