She is so cute! Bless your heart for taking her in. It's one of her back legs that's missing right? My little Addaley is a 3 legged yorkie too. She was born without the full development of her front right leg. She just has one claw and her dew claw on that leg. She just looks like she holds it up all the time.

When I washed and groomed Maemi, I didn't feel any scar or anything in the area of her right hip. I'm almost sure she wasn't born with one. She seems to be walking fine, every once in a while she'd fall but she doesn't seem to mind. My husband, who is totally a goner, said maybe we should look into putting little boots on her for more traction. We'll see how she does.

Now I'm worried, I wiped her incision with peroxid last night and didn't think to put neo on it. I'll have to go home and really check. I was more worried about her little sneezing (I think it is allergys) and soft poo (shelter fed her what they had for the day, not really anything special). I am putting her on Canadie, what do you guys think?

He is pretty wonderful. Here is a man that never had a dog, didn't want a dog, and totally smitten by our Yorkies. He goes home every day at lunch and gets on all 4 to play with the kids. (He is 6 ft. 1) I think on an average day, the kids get hello kisses before me when he gets home.
