When I washed and groomed Maemi, I didn't feel any scar or anything in the area of her right hip. I'm almost sure she wasn't born with one. She seems to be walking fine, every once in a while she'd fall but she doesn't seem to mind. My husband, who is totally a goner, said maybe we should look into putting little boots on her for more traction. We'll see how she does.
