| I don't know if I like the idea of putting the pee pads to wash in the same place that I wash my clothes |

| I agree, she is way too young to be on the couch or left alone unsupervised. My Maci is 5 mo old and will pee all over if i was not keeping her leashed room to room with me. I tend to take her out potty every 20 min or so as she is still so little and does not quite understand the process. |

I don't wash them with anything else. Cloth diapers (for skin babies) are the same thing. Those get washed in the washer don't they.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Just make sure you wash pee pads separately, otherwise you will transfer the scent to other things you own. The scent doesn't entirely come out unless specially treated, although a human nose cannot smell it. Remember, that urine is relatively sterile, unless your dog has an infection, and while feces is loaded with bacteria, you take off the poop and flush it away before you wash the pee pads. Use regular detergent to wash, and rinse using no fabric softeners, you're washer should be clean afterwards.
