| Oh yeah Lee was definitely won over by Lexie when we first got her! When I started talking about getting a small dog all he could say was, "Just don't get a yorkie, they're so yappy!" Well after researching small breeds and running into a woman on campus with a yorkie, I knew there couldn't be any other breed for me. He was a little stubborn about it, but finally, after 2 months of begging, he bought her for me as my Christmas gift. Soon he was calling her his girl. Then 2 months after that he decided he needed his own "manly dog" and got our female golden, Jordan. He loves to wrestle with her, but you could still tell he had a soft spot for Lexie. Less than 2 weeks later we got a call from a friend whos aunt had died and left behind a 5 month old yorkie named Tucker. I looked at hubby and he was smiling and said, "Of course! We need another male around this house!" So yes my hubby got his "manly dog", but he still gets caught lovin' on the yorkies and getting his kisses in! |

| My hubby allowed me to have my babies but for a while I could not have him help me out at all . . . through the years he has gotten so close to my Tiger that he is a constant companion to him during the evenings when I am sewing in my dungeon . . .they both hit the sack too since I am always to busy to join them . . . and these past months Tiger has been enjoying his warm body more than mine . . he even gets to change his belly band now whereas in the first year he never did . . .and the best part of it all, he thinks he is "papa" to my babies too |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Well my hubby has, but not enough to want another one, LOL!!! We have 5 babies (that's including the cat) and to be honest, that is ENOUGH! I love all my babies so much and am totally happy with the ones we have I will say though, that before we got our Yorkies, my hubby was one of those people that always said he didn't like Yorkies His aunt used to have one and he said that- that Yorkie was sooooo spoiled and such a brat, LOL. She would nip at your heels when you walked and she'd bark ALL the time. Well, I told him that not ALL Yorkies are that way and that he needed to just hush up and give them a chance He did, and he is TOTALLY, TOTALLY in love with our babies I swear, if anything ever happened to them, I think he would (like me) go through a DEEP depression. They are seriously like our children

| Absolutely! I posted this in a thread a while back.... Andrew was NOT happy about getting a Yorkie, but I drove him crazy about it. After we got Franklin, I promised he could get whatever "man-dog" he wanted. Well the other night, he told me he wanted "a million Yorkies!" My heart melted.

| Definitely! My fiancee got Toby for me this last summer, and when I would call him "our dog" he would say "your dog, he will never be ours". Needless to say, the day after we got him, he started refering to himself as "dad" and is definitely more lenient than I. Now when he talks about wanting another dog (he has always wanted a Great Dane) he says he wants another yorkie. |

| DH got Sophie as a gift same ole story he will not walk her, carry her, clean up after her blah, blah, blah. I think two weeks later he was a goner. Did everything for her he even baby talked her while he bathe her It just melted my heart. He started bragging to all of his friends that out of the 4(big dogs) he's had before she was definitely the one with the most personality. We then decided to get Rambo first thing he says "Rambo is not sleeping on the bed with us, Sophie is enough" OK fine by me I never asked for Rambo to sleep with us he does just fine in his sleeping area. Well for the past three nights I've been noticing Rambo's area wide open and him on the bed. I'm like what happened to "No Rambo on the bed" he says oh it's fine now he doesn't take up a lot of space Yeh I'd say my Dh adores his babies and I feel sorry for the person that ever messes with them

Awww, that's so sweet Hubby never wanted an indoor dog...period. We've always had retrievers. Several years ago, we had Misty (which we still have) and Chloe. It started snowing and the snow was blowing right into their dog houses. So I went outside and brought both of them in. I gave both of them a bath and made them a bed on the livingroom floor. Misty hated it! She wanted right back out. I made her wait a few hours for the snow to quit blowing and to make sure she was completely dry, but Chloe never went back out to live. She lived inside until she was 16 and passed away. Hubby didn't put up much of fight...not that it would have done him any good Then when Peanut came along...our rescue Yorkie, he was unsure, but Peanut won him over in a matter of days! He was totally in love. Now he talks about Abby all the time. (Abby is our furbaby that was born Jan. 25) I don't think he's as excited as I am, but he's excited. Even our 19 year old son had fallen under the Yorkie spell!

| I'm still awed that my husband has taken to Elvis. He never wanted a dog to lick him or anything...but man! with Elvis he just melts around him! They have definitely bonded. DH is under the yorkie spell alright.
