Awww, that's so sweet
Hubby never wanted an indoor dog...period. We've always had retrievers.
Several years ago, we had Misty (which we still have) and Chloe. It started snowing and the snow was blowing right into their dog houses. So I went outside and brought both of them in. I gave both of them a bath and made them a bed on the livingroom floor. Misty hated it! She wanted right back out. I made her wait a few hours for the snow to quit blowing and to make sure she was completely dry, but Chloe never went back out to live. She lived inside until she was 16 and passed away. Hubby didn't put up much of fight...not that it would have done him any good
Then when Peanut came along...our rescue Yorkie, he was unsure, but Peanut won him over in a matter of days! He was totally in love. Now he talks about Abby all the time. (Abby is our furbaby that was born Jan. 25) I don't think he's as excited as I am, but he's excited.

Even our 19 year old son had fallen under the Yorkie spell!
