| Instead of buying stairs, I bought a basket chest that was small enough for Murfee to jump on and then jump on the bed....and I can store stuff in it too.

| I know several people who use ottomans the same way. I have also seen those children's chairs...like big circles...can't think of the name right now. Those would work as well. My husband built some stairs for our bed that are really great, but it took him and my son almost a full day to figure out how to build them. Ours are like a stairwell....oh man, tough to describe! lol! I'm going to take some photos and post them in a minute.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | We bought a foam ramp that goes along the side of my bed and works great.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | We have a chest at the foot of the bed and bought child steps/stool at Target. It works great, there wooden and have a storage area under the step.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Ok, there is this dog house with stairs/ladder--we tried that but the ladder was too narrow and too steep. Next (after removing ladder) we put an ottoman next to the doghouse so they could jump to the ottoman, to the flat roof/bed of the doghouse to the bed. Still too high a jump to the ottoman.....so now we bought the 3 steps at Target, which is pushed next to the ottoman, which is next to the doghouse.......this works. I'll try to take a picture and post it for y'all to see. |

| Okay, don't laugh! I know it looks ugly, but it works. If I could do anything differently, I would make a wider landing at the top, other than that, it works really well. Please excuse the messy bed. Please remember that my hubby is still recovering from major surgery. I have plans to decorate and paint it over spring break, so it won't look this plain much longer.

| That's what John is good at not me, so I couldn't tell you how to do it either. I just thought a photo would help.
