| I don't know what to do Last night Mi and Koda were playing in bed while we were fixing it .. Well they were under the covers and Koda must have not realized how close to the edge he was and fell off .. He screamed and kept screamin and cring and everything he had me and Laura so scared.. Well after few min of us holding him and checkin to see if he is ok he stop crying Laura pressed his foot and he didn't make a sound we held him and loved him some more and he gave us kisses then we layed him on his back and Laura rub her hands down both of his legs and they felt just right and agian he didn't even make a sound.. I told Laura i think the fall scared him and he may have brused his little foot but its not broke... Well when Laura left for work she said he was limping on it but she layed him down and twised it around and bent it and again he just laid there.. Well I just got home from work and He is STILL limping ... I layed him on his back and messaged all 4 of his little feet and belly and back and he kissed me to thank me and when i put him down he ran off but not on that foot... If it is fine why wont he run or walk on it? I think if it was hurt or broke it would hurt him right I don't know what to do.. Any help please! |

| Have you checked all the way up his legs and his nails? Maybe his leg or one of his nails is hurt and causing him to limp....just a thought. I hope he feels better soon!! |

| It sounds like he's fine, maybe just a little nervous about hurting his foot again, but I'm no vet so I don't want to give you any bad advice. I did do a little research and one veternarian said this: See Your Vet If... Your pet won't let you touch his paw The leg is swollen and in an odd position There is a bad odor around the paw He had ticks before the limping began Your pet has begun having trouble walking, getting up, or climbing stairs One or more legs is dragging He has a limp that doesn't go away One or more legs is in an awkward position There is swelling in the toes, feet, or legs Your pet can't get up Your pet is constantly licking or biting his feet The nails are broken, cracked, or bleeding There are cuts, blisters, growths, or burns on his paw pads Your pet is lame first in one leg and then another He has pain when jumping off a bed or changing position ----------------------------------------------------------------- I hope this helps! |

| Hunter did this a couple weeks ago. Our vet told us that he basically jammed the end of his paw kinda like we jam our finger. He said just to watch and make sure that after a while he started to use it again. He was the same way he made no noise when we pushed or did anything to his paw. Hunter limped around for about a week and will still do it when it is convenient for him Jamie and Hunter |

| Maybe it's just bruised but they are tuff little boogers. I would have it checked if he doesn't stop limping in a couple of days. Better safe than sorry. Hope he is better soon.

| He also could still be scared from the trauma of falling... and wanting to protect his paw cause it hurts but it might not hurt as bad as lets on because the cry is a mixture of pain and being scared.. Maybe not sure keep evaluating him and if all else go to your vet ! Get well little Man Vicki

| I am dealing w/ a chipped bone in a leg from a fall! He acted fine after a bit- but did not put it down the next AM, so I got Xrays! Even the vets that examined him, did not think there was a break, because they could move it alot- before he had pain! They were surprized there was a bone fracture! IMO_ if he is not using it- I'd go to the vet- and get Xrays!

| Aww, poor baby!! Just to be safe, I would get X-rays done if he is still not using the leg by tomorrow. I have to say that I'm a bit of a worry wart when it comes to my furkids.
