| Welcome to YT and congratulations on your new baby! Can hardly wait to see pics of her. Potty training? It takes patience and diligence! Our breeder had already started our Toto to train to potty pads when we got her at 16 wks., so I believe it was easier. We simply watched and encouraged her and each time she went on the pad we "threw a party"!! She loved the excitement so much that she would get on the pad and strain out a tiny little "quarter sized" bit of water and get excited all by herself just for a tiny little piece of Cheerio!!  We simply use the praise & reward system and she is easily trained to do anything we ask! Good luck with your little girl.

| Welcome to YT. I can't wait to see pics of your baby. On the potty training, I wish I could help, mine still have accidents. I just take them both out every 2 hours, but while I'm gone, I use pee pads but by the doors. BTW, neither of mine will go outside while it's raining, so keep the pee pads in mind on rainy days. GOOD LUCK with potty training!  |
