I agree with Sawyers Mom, this was an act of petty jealously. She knew full well what she was doing - spoiling your chances of showing because she couldn't show her dogs. It was a really nasty thing to do - she can't be a very nice person if she has to ruin things for you, her friend, just because she doesn't have the same opportunity to show her dogs. All you can do is try and see her for the unhappy person she must be and try to let it go, for your own sake. It will eat away at you if you don't do this. You don't want to stoop to her level by taking any form of revenge. She is a sad person and probably doesn't have many friends, as a result of this nasty streak. She is really the loser - she has lost your friendship. Tucker is adorable! Luv Franceen xxx |
Nicki, I am so shocked about this, I am practically speechless  Abigail's hair grows painfully slowly, too; and, I would just be heartsick if someone (especially a 'friend') took it upon themselves to chop it all off! Y'know what? I'm just going to believe that this thing that was done in spite and meant for evil is going to turn around. Praying that Tucker's coat will grow more quickly than it ever has, and it will come in even more silky and beautiful than you could dream! I'm so sorry for this. Hugs. |
Yeah, I sort of feel the same way about suing...I think it's used too frequently. Although I do feel that I'm justified in being very angry and upset. I have decided to just let it go, but not speak to her anymore. She'll get what's coming to her...karma comes full circle...and it's a b**** :p |
Wow !!!! I knew it!!!! She is jealous, I am so sorry for you. But that is ok, You still have the prettiest little fellow, it is a shame she did not want you to show him. You will have you chance, and luckily she won't have any part of it with you. You have every right to be upset. No it isn't just hair. |
I am sorry that happened to you. Ryder is still as cute and handsome as ever.;) :aimeeyork Hugs, Mary |
Oh my God, Nicki. When I saw this my jaw dropped. I think that whole thing about feeling a mat was BS...she's jelous. I'm so, so sorry. Maddie wasn't ever a show dog or anything, but I loved her long hair. One time my mom was talking about getting her cut short and I almost died (which I why she didn't actually have it done). So even though its no where near your situation, I understand a little bit how special their hair is. |

OMG!!!! I have to tell you girl, just READING this is making smoke shoot out of my ears!!! How DARE her!!!! Omg, I honestly do not know what to say for once. I am just speechless!  What in the H3LL was she thinking!?!?!! Girl...oh Lord...I seriously don't know what to say here. I mean I honestly do not!! I can only IMAGINE how PO'd you are as I remember how upset I was when Stedman's hair got cut WAY too short (long ago, he was only 5 months old) - I swear to you I almost lost it. True it's only hair...but that really doesn't matter and that isn't the point!!! You didn't want his hair cut like that and she didn't even ASK you before she did it! She didn't have permission, she had NO right!!! Oh goodness gracious...I seriously think I would have blown a fuse!!!!! I am soooo SORRY girl!!! :( |
oh my poor baby!!! I didn't read anyone's reply... but I completely understand your pain.. Jakub's mom does this with Kayah's top knot every single freakin time!!!  I just want to rip her freakin hair out:mad: .. and you know what she said to me last week?! "oh.. the people I works for just had their dogs groomed.. so you should get Kayah groomed.. if you don't.. I'll cut her hair myself"........ the hell you will!!!.. you touch HER hair.. I will cut yours off while you're sleeping....   |
I would be mad, too; but I'm so desparate for a decent groomer, I wish I had a friend that could cut. I trimmed Maxwell myself and he looks like he was in a blender. This situation happened to me, but with my child. His father had him every Sunday, and his father's new wife gave my 2 year old son a haircut!!!!! When I picked him up I was livid. But the hair grew back and the 2nd wife is history. |
to sue or not to sue Quote:
I believe suing is necessary sometimes.its a way to say what you did was wrong, not legally right and I am sooo mad. It teaches them through their pockets to have a better conscience and what more effective way to teach a lesson than taking their money, especially the really rich (but not limited to)who answer to no one. |

It\'s not just about the hair, it is about crossing the line. If she is such a professional, than she should know that people are very particular about their babies. The suing route may be an option, but is it worth spending more energy on someone who doesn\'t understand boundaries anyway? At least you got to tell her off. It\'s up to you whether you wish to forgive her or not, but it sounds as though she didn\'t think much of the friendship to start with. I would always wonder what other liberties she would take advantage of down the road. |
Woo, you have more control of yourself than I do! I would have let loose on her!!! Isn\'t it common knowledge that if they don\'t like it, DO IT ANYWAY! They get over it, jeebus! Oooh, that pisses me off to no end! |
She was clearly in the wrong. You never ever do something like that even if you are friends, unless you are asked. What makes it worse is as a professional she doubly should have known better. There\'s no excuse she could ever offer to ever excuse her behavior. I\'d never trust her with my dog again if I were you. Personally she\'d be off my Christmas list. |
