I thought I had heard it all!! This woman sounds unstable. No wonder her dogs weren't show quality, she probably doesn't know the difference. Owning two yorkies doesn't make anyone an expert; unfortunately, anyone can buy a yorkie, or two, or God forbid three or more. I can't see this being just a lapse of judgement; if she is a groomer, she is aware of how protective owners are of their dogs hair. I feel this was a deliberate, petty act of a jealous woman that was certainly no friend to you. Give your precious baby extra loving, I would imagine this so called groomer was not as nice to him during the "grooming" as she could have been. That said, your boy is gorgeous!! His little face is so perfect:) His hair will grow, and you have seen the true colors of your so called friend; you are lucky to have her out of your life.:) :) |
OMG I am so sorry! I am mad with you too! That is so messed up of her to do! I hate when ppl do that. I was mad at my mom for cutting London's bangs when she was a puppy, and that was only a little bit so imagine you. I cannot believe she did that. That's so wrong, she had no right:mad: |

I am not so sure that I wouldn't sue her over this !To me you are loosing money over this. You were getting ready to show him and now with no hair that is impossible. Plus (like it or not) you won't be getting as much for his pups now. Had he been a champion his pups would have been worth more. Now before anyone jumps down my throat like it or not it is true. After his hair grows back you could still show him I am sure. It make take longer to get to the ring but you can still do it. Tucker is still a very handsome boy but I would have devastated if someone cute off Diesel coat. ((HUGS)) |
I absolutely freaked out when I read about this! Tucker is precious no matter how long the hair is - but you NEVER do anything to someone's dog without their permission!!! |
Personally, I would be grateful to get a free grooming out of the deal...Do you think she would "watch" Edie for a while? :p |
Mascot What a terrible wrong you have been served. Poor furbutt, he is still so cute, I agree though, even he looks mad. It's a bad situation for anyone to have to be in.... Dot |
HOLY CRAP! How could someone do such a thing? I'm the type of person who usually just "holds it in", but for THAT, I probably would have shouted "WHAT THE HELL?!?" That's just crazy!! I'm sorry you're going through this. :( WOW! Unbelievable! |

I am Positive she did this to Ruin his show career.!!! WOW the nerve of People! |
Emerald Ok. I just talk to my husband who is a very good attorney. He said you can sue her and should to recover damages she has caused you. You can go at it one of 2 ways; negligence or willful destruction of property (i know some people don't like dog's being considered property but in the eyes of the law they are). Depending on the amount you come to as to what she has cost you in the show ring and/or w/ the puppies... you could go small claims court (you wouldn't have to... couldn't for that matter hire an attorney for that) or regular court (you would need to spend extra money for an attorney w/o much chance of getting the attorney fees paid for (courts don't like to award attorney's fees much and in some cases they can't). Anyway, if you want to talk to my husband about it, pm me and I will give you his email! I can't believe she told you your dog prefered short hair...lol! That is crazy that she thinks she knows what your dog wants. I do believe dog's have preferences (one of my mom's maltese love short hair cuts and the other would hide til it was fully grown out!). |
Sue a friend? :D Wow.. Sure, she shouldn't have done that but I think that's a little (or A LOT) overboard and borderline psychotic. People are to sue crazy these days. |

How long have you two been friends for?? Dawn |
WOW.....he had BEAUTIFUL hair too. Why would ANYONE cut his hair?? I don't get it. That lady must be crazy!! Like everyone else said he is still cute but still.....that isn't the POINT. What she told you when you confronted her was crazy. She had no right to touch your dogs hair. Esp. without your permission. I would just move on from this lady and don't talk to her any more. |
