| Bentley licks EVERYTHING? Help! Ever since I've gotten my newest fur-baby, Bentley, I've noticed that he licks EVERYTHING. At first, my boyfriend and I thought it was cute but we've noticed that it's gotten a bit excessive. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Should I be worried?

| Mmmm.. that calms me down a bit - thank you! Bentley licks the floor, the bed, clothes, everything & anything. I was just wondering if it had something to do with him internally. Someone told me that her dog licked the floor and it meant that he was nauseous.

| Milo used to be like that, but when we went to school to be a therapy dog they had a part on no licking. What we used to do is hold the object in front of them and when they began to lick we would say NO LICK and remove the item, and give them a treat. It is time consuming but it does work. Here a little motivataion, everything they lick they ingest. Thats what kept me practicing. |

| Chloe licks clothing. Its so annoying. There are wet spots on the bed and I have to smell it to make sure its not her peepee. |

| My Jack Russell licks the walls, floor, couch...everything. Not sure why he does it, but he's done it for 9 years!

| yes, Bubba licked the carpet & upholstery a lot when I first adopted him - it's very occasional now. I just tell him to stop and he will, at least for a bit

| -sigh- Thank you guys so much! I was just so worried since Bobby hardly licked anything & it was definitely something I noticed he did a lot. I'm thinking about getting him a job at the Post Office as an Official Stamp Licker, LOL! =)
