Milo used to be like that, but when we went to school to be a therapy dog they had a part on no licking. What we used to do is hold the object in front of them and when they began to lick we would say NO LICK and remove the item, and give them a treat. It is time consuming but it does work. Here a little motivataion, everything they lick they ingest. Thats what kept me practicing. |
