| I got my 2 boys at the same time, they were born in the same liter and are 2.5 years old now. They are a bit jealous of each other with my attention, but most of the time they are good, they play together and keep each other company! Im glad I have 2, since I live alone and work full time... I couldn't keep just one baby home alone all day! Plus I have 2 hands... so I need 2 heads to pet and 2 bellies to rub!

| I think the norm is that people dont have problems with more than one. If you look at the pics and vids on here they seem to love each other. In my case the second was a very bad idea . It was the new one that caused the problem and we had serious issues and werent able to part with either of them. We learned to manage the fighting as best we could and separated them when we werent around. It was very stressful for all of us including our older yorkie who we thought we were helping by getting a second for companionship. I really do think our story is rare but at the same time it is always something to consider.

| I added a new baby to our family a few weeks back, And Bella ( 1 year yorkie is still jealous and doesn't like her. If the baby has something Bella will take it from her. Ex: Dog bones Bella never liked them, she will now take them from the baby..She just a meanie. They will play together for a few mintues and then bella bullies her and snips her. And I cant leave them unattended ,not even for a second... I wish I had some great advice for you, But quite frankly I haven't figured it out...I hope that if you do expand your family It goes alot better then it did for me.

| well we were thinking about breeding him with another yorkie owned by a girl I work with. Then planning on keeping one (or two hehe) and selling the rest. After that I would get him neutered. |

YT 2000 Club Member | We are hoping to add a few more furbabies to our home too! I do not know how Jeter will act but he is so young himself. I think that he will think the new puppy is a toy for him to play with He's just real playful and I think that it's a good time frame to add another one soon while he's still a puppy himself. He is very social with other dogs, he just wants to play play play!!I am hoping to add a new one by May Thankfully my husband is on the same page with me on this! My mother has 2 girls, one is 5 and one is going to be 2 this April. They did pretty good, they do not like to share their toy's to much, and the younger one thinks every thing is hers, but they do fine together.

| I want to eventually get a playmate for Franklin, but probably won't be able to for at least another year. Keep us updated on how it goes!

| I wanted a second yorkie but was afraid Rickles would never accept another dog, especially since he and I had been attact by a st.beanard (150 lbs) a couple of years ago and ever since he has been terrified of other dogs. This dog trainer has been working with us to help him and I asked her the advice you are asking for and she told me to not look with my heart but with my head. She told me to get the most outgoing puppy in the litter. Well, that is exactly what I did. When I brought him home Rickles went nuts. I put the puppy in the bathroom with a little bed, etc. and put a baby gate up. The puppy curled up and went to sleep even though Rickles was standing at the gate barking at him like crazy. Finally, in the middle of the night I went and picked up the puppy and the three of us slept in the recliner together. The next day was a little better and by the 3rd day things had really settled down. Gleason has been with us for 6 months and they are so close. They even groom each other. It turned out even better than I had hoped. |

| Mine get jealous of eachother occasionally, but it never gets violent or out of hand. One might just try to get closer to me, or one might pout. No different than kids really, lol.

| Nothing is for sure yet.. but we were because we wanted 1 or 2 more and so did the owner of the girl. We would be so that we know where everyone is coming from. I wanted to just find a breeder and get another but also we can see the personalities as they grow. My husband wanted to do the breeding thing. |

| I was thinking of another boy because all I have heard is they are more loving and cuddly and the girls are more feisty. Am I wrong? |

| Rickles is an 7 year old male and he is very loving. He always has to be around me. The lady I got Gleason (male) from told me the females were dominate and if I didn't want Rickles dominated I should get another male so I did. I don't know if it's a male thing or not but he is the most loving puppy I have ever seen. He will let me hug him up and love on him and he doesn't try to get down or anything. He is the best cuddler in the world. The only thing is he doesn't know what No means and he isn't afraid of anything. lol |

| Bentleys breeder said his mother and grandmother were the sweetest dogs she has ever had. When we got him he didn't like to be held for kissed or anything. Now he is loving being held and carried and kisses are for everyone! I just wunna squeeze him lol! I want a girl but I am afraid because he has been the best and easiest dog that I have ever seen in my life. I am afraid another won't compare and be too hard to train. I didn't really want any at first and I really lucked out with this guy. |

| We were very Blessed. Chewy is one and a half...(Almost 2) He Loved Sadie right off the bat. He was mad at us though and would sit on the end of the couch instead of my lap! It didn't tale long for him to get used to the new life style. He has his moments and I feel bad but he always sleeps with us at night! I took chewy on a mommy little boy day today. He went all over with me and Sadie stayed home with my son. He was his old self and right now he is on my lap! He loves having Sadie to play with most of the time. There are times she wants to play and he wants to sleep. But it gets worked out. I guess you won't know unless you try!
