| Did anyone name their baby before they brought them home? I'm picking up my baby girl this weekend and for the life of me I can't decide on a name. I just stare at her picture and can't think of anything that will fit her. Was it this hard for you guys? Do I need to wait to get her home and put a name with her personality? This shouldn't be this hard. I like Bella but I think its way to common. I like Duchess but my husband doesn't like it. My husband likes Gia but something about that name doesn't click with me. She's going to be a small girl, I want something soft and pretty. Any suggestions? As of right now her name is no name. |

| I had Gizmo's name before I brought him home, but I was lucky enough to meet him when he was five weeks old and visit with him every week until we brought him home. I was able to get to know him and learn his personality a little. It was difficult to think of a name. I had this huge list of names and had them narrowed down by his 9th week to about 5. Then, when I went to see him and tried the names out on him, Gizmo seemed to be perfect. Congrats and good luck.

| Lol... I had Roxy's name picked out 3 years before I had her... My Mom watches One Life to Live... and I dont really watch it, but everytime the one character Roxy (the beautician) was on, I just loved her... She made me laugh so hard, and I just loved her and her name... So, thats how I got Roxy's name... and I knew I wanted a Yorkie... and 3 years, and a lot of research later... I got me my perfect little baby girl!!! Plus the new puppy I am getting I think I had Roxy for about 4 months, she would have been 10 months at the time when my boyfriend and I heard something on South Park... A "weird" version of Kyle was walking around the town saying... "CHEWY CHEWY CHOMP!!!"... lol, so my boyfriend and I said, thats what we should name a boy if we get one... And we'll just call him Chompers for short... so ... we've had that name for about a year now... and now we are just going to get Chompers.

| We had Cosmo named picked out the day we brought him home. HOWEVER, we have a new lil man that after 2 weeks is still unnamed! Only becuase we want something that has a catchy shortened version. For example, I love Bentley and sometimes I call him Bennie. My husband doesn't like Bennie. I always like for his papers Bandie's Magic Jumpin Jaxon. But we are not crazy about Jaxon. Like for when you call him...Jaxon, Jaxon, Jaxon hard to say I feel your pain...and so does my new lil man (maybe we will call him "Unamed in Fresno" ha ha)

| I was actually planning on getting a boy and I had boy names picked out. Well when i got a little girl I couldn't think of any names so we sat in the family room with her and we started giving names out loud as soon as she heard "BELLA" she turned her head and looked at us! haha that's how we picked her name out.

| Susanah's name was originally going to be Rosa Bella Grace and I was going to call her Gracie-Belle. But that name just didn't fit her at all. So she became Scarlet Susanah Belle and that name fits her to a T!

| I picked out Zoe's name before I picked out Zoe I knew I wanted a girl and my mom, sis and I were coming up with names and one of us came up with Zoe. Fortunately, when I met her it seemed to fit so I hope she will suit it (I pick her up next Friday).

| I named my girl just after she was confirmed to be mine. I chose both her registered name and call name before I even met her for the first time. Her paper name is xxx worth the wait I waited for this little girl since I was 8 Her call name is Kylie, I got it by blending the names Kodie & Tillie (her mom and dad). I am sooo glad that she IS a Kylie. Now years ago I had purchased a pup before she was even born, I had a name planned for her but after getting her home... less than 24hrs she had a way different name. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't Alana
