Funny! My step daughter named our Buddy after Budweiser because that is what my husband drinks. I named Jake after that country song "If I die before I wake, please feed Jake".

We named Pudgy because he is a little Pudge.. you would never know by looking at his face but when he walks he looks like a pudgy little guinea pig.. he waddles too... its really cute

Well,

Our yorkie is gonna be here soon and her name is Icee Blue. We knew that blue had to be in the name cause that is our favorite color and both my wife and I's vehicles are blue. And i love Icees. hehe

Icee sounded good with blue...........so

Stewie is named after the baby Stewie Griffin in the Fox cartoon "the Family Guy" and of course after Stuart Little (the mouse)

We love the beach and so my husband came up with Sunshine. It fits her because she really knows how to brighten you up!

We chose the name Zeus because I wanted him to have a strong name, and believe me, he definitely has the personality to match!!

Addi was named after one of the characters in the American Girls books. Her official name is "Kirstin's Little Miracle" because our daughter begged for a Yorkie for her birthday and my husband always said it would be a miracle if we ever had an inside dog. Romeo was suppose to be name Andy (to match Addi) but he is such a little loverboy that we had to name him Romeo. He always crawls up to your neck and kisses your face and nibbles on your ears.

My Yorkie was named Mochachino.. One day i just came out and said "One day I am going to have a little yorkie girl and I am going to call her Mochachino.. I love coffee and I think I have a thing with naming pets after food.. My cat was named Jellybean!! Mocha just fit!!

Maximus was named from the movie Gladiator...before we actually picked him up from the breeders house we were tossing names around..we were watching Gladiator and then went to eat at Benihana's and my bf said what about Maximus...so we had like 3 different names that WE LIKED...and when he took over the house we decided he would be Maximus Decimus Jimenez...the ruler of the troops of our household

Chester...I don't know! Driving back from Houston, it hit me and the name just stuck!

Gracie...Don't know either but we decided to name her that before we went to pick her up.

Rebel...a suggestion from someone on YT. Had SO many good names to choose from and it was hard. He went a few days without a name.

My first yorkie is called Fina, because in Germany every litter gets a letter, she was out of F-litter and we were able to choose the name ourself. My second one is called Dominca, because her full name is Domingo- Bianca v. Waldeck, so we put the both names together. And the third one is called Any because her full name is Sweet Magic´s Always On My Mind( she was called like this because her mother died one day after her birth), so we took the A from Always the n from On and the y from My.

ok here's tucker's story!! we got a puppy named bandit. he was named that because he stole our hearts. bandit died a month later from a liver shunt. we knew we were going to get another dog and we had no idea what to name it. we settled on Noah. then we were talking about one of the vets who tried to save bandit, dr. tucker. we thought tucker was a perfect name and that it is!!

Well...At first I wanted to name my yorkie Hunter...then I said no. So I was then I was at the hospital and my great grandfather was in his hospital bed. I was reading the bible then I said Jeremiah. I like the name because it was close to Isisah..who was my great grandfather then I had to come up with a name so...my mom made me pick Bo from American Idol since he didn't win. My mom is a BIG BO FAN! I rejected it but then I was like Jeremiah Bo . It was a weird name but it had a ring to it. So then I got Jeremiah Bo.
